Everything needed—product management, orders, payments, shipping, and even basic SEO—is seamlessly integrated into one system. This means I don’t have to juggle multiple plugins or third-party tools, making the backend straightforward and intuitive. I appreciate that the backend being straightforward means our team can update the store, process orders, and launch promotions without waiting for a developer. Additionally, EKM’s automatic handling of hosting, security, GDPR compliance, and platform updates takes a huge amount of stress and administrative work off my shoulders, especially since we operate within the EU and DACH markets. I also find that the initial setup was extremely easy and straightforward, perhaps the simplest we’ve experienced with e-commerce platforms, thanks to a step-by-step wizard guiding us through adding products, setting up payment methods, shipping rules, and tax settings. **What do you dislike about EKM?** The biggest area we find restrictive is customization flexibility. The built-designs are easy to use, but if you want to make more unique, brand-specific changes to the layout or functionality, you often hit limits. Advanced custom code or complex custom workflows aren’t as simple to implement as on more open platforms. We’ve also noticed that some advanced marketing and automation features are more basic compared with dedicated tools.
