&lt;p&gt;Vendor neutrality would matter even if the team eventually standardized on one destination. Observability stacks change, and I’d rather keep routing and transformation independent so replacing a SIEM, storage platform, or analytics destination doesn’t require rebuilding the collection layer. The value is less about using multiple destinations forever and more about preserving flexibility when requirements change.&lt;/p&gt;
