There is nothing to like about easypost because I cannot get in and there are no humans to help...no one is driving...

Hard to say what I dilike the most as I cannot keven get in to use the account...the AI do nothing, and god forbid anyone would work past bankers hours to help the businesses that are trying to use their products...

It has done nothing but cost me time because their website does not work...which is coincidental to their employess not working either.

**What do you like best about EasyPost?**

EasyPost integrated seamlessly with our business' returns platform. This gave our customers the ability to pay for and download labels to send in their returns at better rates than going to their post office.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

International shipping (US to Canada) gets a little bit tricky. Naturally it's more expensive, but trying to update or customize some of the shipment details for duties and border agents doesn't seem to be native to the platform. Had to find a couple workarounds.

**What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EasyPost gives us and our customers the ability to download labels to send in their returns. We're in Canada and so our carrier doesn't provide return labels for US shipments. EasyPost gives us that ability and it's done during the return request process.

The address verification and ability to include my own carrier accounts

Their billing practice is horrendous. They routinely charge BOTH my credit card and my bank account simultaneously. And on top of that, they charge a 3% convenience fee for the credit card payment which I did not authorize. They claim the credit card is only a secondary payment method, but they insist on charging both payment methods anyway. I tried for the longest time to get some correction with customer support, but they were adamant they were doing things right and refused to make any correction. I'm fed up with their abominable billing practices and poor excuse for customer service.

**What do you like best about EasyPost?**

Fast, pretty realiable API. Good portal to review logs of events.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

1) Have had issues with the Canada Post test intergation not functioning, but this is a very minor issue. 

2) My bigger issue is:

I have many multi-box shipments, and I find buying through the orders end points ackward and slow because I have to call the order create end point twice.  The reason for this is because:

I have two Fedex accounts setup because I get different rates from each, depending on the destination.  However,  I have to send the carrier and service to buy the label from the orders buy end point.  For all Fedex label buys, it would be abigous which account I would be buying from, so I can't do it this way. 

So my work around is to create an order with all of my carrier accounts, look the various options and choose the rate I want then re-create the order with only the carrier account I need.  This is slow because I need to create the order twice. 

3) I would also like to see the SmartRate API available in Canada!

Easypost is really easy, accepting virtually any carrier and was super easy for our staff to implement. Also, we use easypost to create hundreds of labels a day and their customer support is amazing. Highly recommend and integrates with most platforms.

**What do you like best about EasyPost?**

EasyPost is hands-free service that helps you handle the money side of getting postage for your USPS Packages. Once you set it up, you never have to go back in to buy postage, it's an automatic charge.
You can log in at any time to check on you rates.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

Unfortunately, there are only two payment options. If you want to go with your Bank Account, it takes 3-5 business days to transfer. That can hinder your postage if you ship constantly throughout the day. It makes us have to transfer a large amount at a time to cover all the postage as we wait for more money to transfer. The Credit Card option charges a 3.75% Convenience Fee that could add up over time. We don't use that option and just increase the amount it automatically adds through our Bank Account Transfer to cover us.

**What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables us to ship USPS easily without having to pay a bill for postage every day/week. It does it automatically and saves us time.

**What do you like best about EasyPost?**

It supports a ton of carriers and integrates with a ton of front end platforms. 
We use shipblink front end which requires easypost, and shipblink has been Amazing for us!  Their prices for insurance are great.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

The customer support is middling.  They respond relatively quickly (no chat support, only email).  But they make a lot of things an absolute slog to get help with.

Worst aspects
1.  Insurance claims are painful, slow, convoluted, and dont include the cost of the label, which really hurts for expensive international shipments.  Industry standard everywhere else is to include label cost.

2.  Adjustments:  Their shipping adjustments system is a joke.  Finding the shipping adjustments requires manual 30 day reports. Contesting them requires emailing the carriers directly and then hoping some day an adjustment trickles down to easypost.  The only way to find out? run a report 30 days later when it is now too late to contest the claim.  

3. Updates:  Maybe this will change in 2024. But in 2023  Easypost has been behind on every major carrier update rollout when compared to other platforms.  When shippo, shopify, pirateship, etc rolled out new Ground Advantage rates and names, easypost got to it...later.  When UPS DAP rolled out new Ground Saver rates and everyone else added them,  Easypost said "yeah early next year."     When Fedex added new express ICP rates, Easypost said "oh yeah sorry we havnt added that yet, maybe next year"    

4.  Programming fixes/requests:  Easypost has been slow and refusing to make updates to their integrations with carriers or add new carriers for most of 2023.  I get that things get busy, but...hire people!?

EasyPost has the best shipping API out there. Other ones have missing documentation, do things in a weird way, or require a lot of work to integrate. EasyPost also has very good and responsive support agents.

There are a couple USPS features missing from EasyPost, such as the inability to use paper return receipts or print postage correction labels.

The very easy to implement API just works right out of the box, with a simple dashboard that doesn't overcomplicate things.

The documentation seems a little bit dated, specificly for Node.js. However the api itself is simple to use so it isn't hard to figure it out on your own.

I had never heard of Easypost until we were upgrading our order fulfillment process.  Easypost was referred by our new Middleware and integrating has been seemless. I would recommend to anyone looking for a shipping platform.

So far we haven't run into any cons of using EasyPost.

We started using EasyPost over 3 years ago and experienced some UI issues at the beginning when using the website. They have improved the UI and it is much better now already.

I like that you can set a re-load amount so I don't have to keep track of how much money is on the account. I also think that the tracking links that are shared when are pretty slick looking and easy for our clients to follow.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

I don't have any really. When I first started I was confused about the adjustment rates and how to use the actual site (as opposed to using services through Printavo), but things are easy so I rarely have to use the site itself.

They seem to be pretty hands off, meaning after you are setup its easy to just let it run at its best and things will be taken care of. It's one less thing to have to keep a close eye on or check the status of constantly.

**What do you like best about EasyPost?**

As a smaller commerce company, we ship out hundreds of packages a day. To rate shop multiple carriers separately is a hassle, and EasyPost makes it easy to rate shop every shipper in one go. Their API is super simple and easy to use and is very fast in returning rates and labels. Their support is also fantastic and very quick to respond to questions.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

When using multiple brands, it is a bit intensive to create branded tracking for each brand. A UI to handle child accounts would be very much welcomed rather than having to utilize the API to handle this.

Having to rate shop multiple carriers is tedious in code, and EasyPost makes it very simple with their one-call API.

EasyPost integrates with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. We use EasyPost to process shipments within the WMS application of Business Central. EasyPost's online portal provides a clear database to track shipments, and incorporates all carrier accounts in one centralized portal for rate shopping if needed.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

EasyPost's portal does require time to learn where all the funtions are located such as "add carrier", "return shipment" so there is a learning curve. It would be beneficial if the most frequently used functions had hot button's on the main page.

Super easy to set up the account & the amount we are saving on shipping [& passing those savings onto our customers] is tremendous! So much less expensive than UPS Wordship.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

It is not intiuitve on the process for shipping a package outside of our wordpress/woo commerce website. For example, shipping a product that a customer purchases from us at our physical store location.

**What problems is EasyPost solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In 2022, we had many website customers who abandoned their carts when they got to the ship pane and saw how expensive UPS residential shipping was. Since, installing EasyPost, we have seen our abandoned carts diminish to almost zero & our number of sales per month has substantially increased.

Easypost has a stellar API and offer integrations to *most* carriers that the average business will need, with the exception of some last mile and local couriers. We have a business account with them and as such, we have an account rep. In the past, our reps would seemingly change every few weeks so there was no real relationship built. However, over the past couple of months, we are now paird up with Wyatt Kincaid and he has been awesome!

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

From a business point of view, they do not have very competitive rev share opportunties and you have to pay for their support services. We are also forced to pay a fee to waive label generation fee's for our customers even though we bring them quite a bit of volume. I'd like to see them get more competitive in this area to entise their partners to push more volume their way.

**What do you like best about EasyPost?**

I really like using EasyPost as it integrates seamlessly with my return portal API. Our customers are able to easily generate return labels with minimal intervention from us.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

Would love to have a more user-friendly UI and the ability to allow us to generate manual labels. Also a little hard to debug if there are issues, however, their customer support is very helpful.

It avoids us from having Customer Service intervene for all customer returns. We no longer need to manually generate labels for our customers for any of our carriers. Saves a lot of time!

We use Easypost to integrate into Loop our Returns portal, and it couldn't be any easier if you tried. We've loved building it into our tech stack and we find the integrations is simple and the platfrom is a breeze to use. Having the API Connections lets you make the program talk to whatever you need it to. Fast Simple and great.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

There's honestly not much to dislike, it does what it said it would out of the box, it ships things. Maybe having a customizable dashboard in its colours would be cool, not the biggest fan of blue haha but otherwise its good.

We use Easypost to integrate into Loop returns, Loop needs to generate a label and we use Easypost via the API to talk to our Australia Post account to easily generate return labels

We used EasyPost to integrate return shipping labels to recycle our products. We were exclusive with one carrier before, which would charge extra fees once return labels were scanned. After integrating easy post into our return shipping forms, we've saved hundreds of dollars a month by rate shopping and using accurate package dimensions and weights. Excellent product.

No complaints so far using EasyPost. The portal is easy to navigate and review entries. Our use case is simple so perhaps more enterprise-level organizations might find limitations at scale.

We spent too much on one carrier for our return shipping label program. We've saved hundreds every month by implementing EasyPost into our own return shipping form.

Very easy to setup carriers and API connection to our ERP system. Works well for rates as well as labels and handles international shipments very well. Reconciling shipment costs very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

ACH funding can take a few days to process, only really an issue if shipment volume spikes unexpectedly. Manual shipment process on website is not the best but 99% of our shipments are handled through API which works great.

Helped us integrate our shipping carriers with our ERP system to generate rate quotes and shipping labels for Fed-Ex/UPS/USPS shipments. Works better than competitors for international shipments and flat rate options.

Easy integration into our existing 3PL software as well as shipping accounts. Very competitive pricing.

EasyPost does not autometically connect to our bank account so pulls from the bank account are instant. We have a $5k min ballence we keep in the account to act as a buffer.  I wish you could have a little more buffer because of the time it takes to pull money from bank account.

Clear pricing between all shipping carriers. Allows for easy billing to our 3PL clients.  Straight forwards interface with solid backend API that is easy to work with.

Easypost is reliable, fast, cheap, and does not give me any headaches.  It helps me ship dozens of orders per day, integrates with my shipping system, and provides great reporting.

**What do you dislike about EasyPost?**

I had to write my own Wordpress/Woocommerce plugin because the available ones are extremely expensive or not what I needed.

Easypost allows me to ship domestic and international orders - mostly USPS - and handles the frequently changing carrier APIs without me having to worry about each one.

Minor service outages have caused a couple shipping delays but no longer than an hour.

EasyPost has a great API that is very consistent and well documented. Customer support is also quick to respond and helpful.

I have noticed some inconsistencies between our UPS account rates and rates retrieved from EasyPost. This might be a UPS issue, buts it's hard to tell and I get directed to UPS by EasyPost. UPS is most unhelpful, but that's not a reflection of EasyPost. Just frustrating when I have a problem.

EasyPost contributes to the UX of our customers selling on our platform. They make it easy for us to use their API to offer our customers single click shipping labels at discount.

It integrates well with our ERP system and usually makes doing the work easy and user friendly for our employees.

Sometimes when there are unexpected issues (which may be caused by upgrades pushed into our system from Microsoft) it is not easy to get assistance with resolving the issues quickly. Sometimes we wait a day or 2 before hearing back. If easyPost is not working, it means we are not shipping, which is a huge problem.

EasyPost allows us to ship out of our ERP system, easily using different ship methods, carriers and rates depending on the customer and location
