## About EasyEngine
EasyEngine is a WordPress server and site management platform designed for developers, agencies, and teams managing multiple WordPress sites at scale. It is widely used by teams that: ✅ Need fast, automated WordPress deployment & management. ✅ Want consistent, repeatable workflows across servers. It combines a powerful open-source CLI with a web-based dashboard to simplify server provisioning, WordPress deployment, performance optimization, backups, security, and team collaboration. EasyEngine uses a container-based architecture built on NGINX, PHP, Redis, MariaDB, and Docker to deliver fast, secure, and production-ready WordPress environments. Users can provision or connect their cloud servers, create WordPress sites in minutes, manage SSL certificates, configure caching, monitor performance, and automate workflows such as backups and deployments. EasyEngine also supports serverless WordPress sites via WP Cloud, offering auto-scaling, CDN integration, and simplified infrastructure management.

## EasyEngine Reviews
 ### 1. Not Suitable for Deployment on Production Servers

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Islam R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2022

**What do you like best about EasyEngine?**

The use of Docker in EasyEngine gives way better isolation (and security) for the hosted sites on the server than traditional server stacks.

**What do you dislike about EasyEngine?**

EasyEngine has a very critical problem with updating and clearing cached files, and it becomes even more stubborn and complicated when Redis caching is used along with proxy caching, rendering the whole stack unsuitable for production.

**What problems is EasyEngine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying a complete server stack with focus on performance and security.

 ### 2. A great tool for Nginx server management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter D. | Peter Downey, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2018

**What do you like best about EasyEngine?**

I really like the fact that easy engine makes things simple for people just learning the ropes

**What do you dislike about EasyEngine?**

While their archives date far back, I've found that much of the information has changed over the years. This can be confusing for people that aren't well versed in Nginx.

**Recommendations to others considering EasyEngine:**

I think if you're a linux user that's looking for scripted server management options, EasyEngine is a great choice to consider.

**What problems is EasyEngine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used EasyEngine in the past to help colleagues and businesses I consult with to streamline their server management. For users that are hoping to make the switch from CentOS to Ubuntu, EasyEngine makes things a lot more digestible. In addition, making the move from Apache to Nginx is a pretty huge step that is also considerably easier thanks to EasyEngine.

I think the big benefit with EasyEngine is that it allows users of all types to learn Nginx and server hosting in general. The initial learning phase of hosting platforms can be confusing and filled with misinformation. Since EasyEngine is a scripted platform that handles all of the proper methods for the user, getting things correctly configured is much simpler.
