Ducalis has become a great tool for us at Product Radar to make prioritization transparent and get the community involved in product work. We use a public backlog where startups and clients can vote and share ideas, and teams immediately see what really matters.

Their team is stellar. Nadia is always very quick to respond, thinks along with the customer, is knowledgeable and really gets things done. I've barely ever experienced customer support on that level, especially for the very low cost that Ducalis comes with.

We were looking for a simple software that allowed us to have a public "Ideas" board and internal "Bugs" board, that's it. We compared Ducalis with many other players, and settled on Ducalis because of the easy user interface in the public voting boards, the price, and that it was the only one covering the integrations and functionalities we were looking for.

We know Ducalis offers many more functions (like applying the RICE model or other scoring systems to tasks), which all looked great but we haven't had the possibility to implement yet, so I can only speak on the products we actively use.

Their software is quick, rather bug-free, and works great with our Linear integration. So we can't ask for more. I'd definitely recommend Ducalis to others for all these reasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It took a little bit of time to get used to the interface, as there wasn't a very strong in-product onboarding available. But once you get it, it works smoothly.

As Ducalis is a relatively new player, there were a few functions that were initially missing for us to really use it to the extent we wanted. They were minor things, like customizing which type of activity you wanted to push to Slack and syncing customization with our Linear integration. However, the Ducalis team is very open to feedback and great at following up with it. The abovementioned "lacks" have been released within only a few months after us mentioning it, so thumbs up for that. In other words, if you're starting out with Ducalis, you might not have all functions that you'd like to have from the start. Despite a good amount of documentation, it was a bit hard to set up at first. It would be useful to have a dedicated person to help set up the platform for the business needs (of course at a price). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The beautiful and modern web UI is what attracted me to start using it. Compared to similar products, Ducalis is just too good-looking for both my users and the development team, including me.

- Good integration with other management tools like GitHub, it allows us to import issues from GitHub quickly and setup our roadmap and voting page

- For my users, Ducalis' interface is much easier to understand than GitHub Projects, not to mention that the voting feature allows them to have an intimate feeling of involvement in the project.

- GitHub's 2-way sync is not fully implemented. Importing is easy and fast. However, the sync status back to the GitHub feature is missing.

- The roadmap page is locked to the language we set in the project settings. Ducalis has many languages supported in UI, but no language auto-detect feature is available for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have only recently started using the service and are gradually implementing processes with it.

We do not use prioritization, only utilize it as a public roadmap and for collecting new ideas.

Public product roadmaps is super useful and it helped us to increase the speed of our product development and improve our overall product strategy. By having and organized roadmap, we were able to prioritize our development efforts and ensure that we were working towards our long-term goals and users needs. Additionally, having a public product roadmap allowed us to communicate our plans and progress to our stakeholders, customers, and partners, which helped to build trust and transparency. The github integration requires too much sensitive information thats why we have decided to not to integrate it with github project management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ducalis is a great tool for prioritizing new product ideas and feature requests. You can choose from a variety of different prioritization frameworks and invite your entire team to evaluate each idea and request based on that framework. Ducalis also shows you when you and your teammates are not aligned with how you've scored certain tickets, which leads to great discussions. It also has a two-way integration with Linear which is fantastic. It allowed us to score tickets that have already been created in Linear, which made for an incredibly easy initial implementation. You can also create tickets directly in Ducalis, and push them into Linear once they hit the top of your backlog. This has been incredibly helpful for us as it reduces the noise we have in Linear, which allows our engineering team to focus without having to worry about important features getting lost in the backlog.

There's not much to dislike about Ducalis. I do wish it was easier to group issues together, but this hasn't been a big deal for us. As a solo entrepreneur, starting my day with Ducalis has become a cornerstone of my routine. As of my current experience, I have not encountered any significant drawbacks with Ducalis. However, an area that could be explored further is the introduction of more advanced analytics features. The product allows:

- organize processes around the task of prioritizing the backlog

- involve the whole team in this process

- thus ensure transparency of product development plans for the team

- have complete and comprehensive information about the task, which allows you to plan better

Key features:

- the ability to implement any evaluation methodology (there are several dozen ready-made, plus you can make your own completely)

- reverse priority exchange with tracker systems

- tools for organizing team discussion on assessments (highlighting controversial tasks)

- public boards with a roadmap of the project, which can be shared with clients and involve them in prioritization, too.

The main target audience now, according to my communication with the founder, is the enterprise or so. Implement the product in the form of a private cloud solution.

Support – operational support, mainly the product founder himself is responsible. There was a problem with payment, because they work mainly for Europe now, they quickly decided, found a way. There were several comments and suggestions on the functionality, several were immediately corrected, the rest were discussed, entered into the backlog.

The team – there is little information on the team. Small, about 3-5 people. I am only familiar with the founder, pleasant in communication, leaves the impression of a very intelligent person in his field, like a serial startup.
