Nadia is always very quick to respond, thinks along with the customer, is knowledgeable and really gets things done. I've barely ever experienced customer support on that level, especially for the very low cost that Ducalis comes with. We were looking for a simple software that allowed us to have a public "Ideas" board and internal "Bugs" board, that's it. We compared Ducalis with many other players, and settled on Ducalis because of the easy user interface in the public voting boards, the price, and that it was the only one covering the integrations and functionalities we were looking for. We know Ducalis offers many more functions (like applying the RICE model or other scoring systems to tasks), which all looked great but we haven't had the possibility to implement yet, so I can only speak on the products we actively use. Their software is quick, rather bug-free, and works great with our Linear integration. So we can't ask for more. I'd definitely recommend Ducalis to others for all these reasons. **What do you dislike about Ducalis?** It took a little bit of time to get used to the interface, as there wasn't a very strong in-product onboarding available. But once you get it, it works smoothly. As Ducalis is a relatively new player, there were a few functions that were initially missing for us to really use it to the extent we wanted. They were minor things, like customizing which type of activity you wanted to push to Slack and syncing customization with our Linear integration. However, the Ducalis team is very open to feedback and great at following up with it. The abovementioned "lacks" have been released within only a few months after us mentioning it, so thumbs up for that. In other words, if you're starting out with Ducalis, you might not have all functions that you'd like to have from the start. But Ducalis is eager to grow with you, and that's exactly what we are looking for. **What problems is Ducalis solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to gather feedback from both users as well as internally, and measure interest on new ideas. This allows us to prioritize and evaluate tasks to ensure we develop new features our users really want. We also use Ducalis to track bugs that are internally reported; and in turn, allows the employee who reported the bug to keep an eye on its progress and communicate wherever necessary to our development department to align on necessary information. This eliminates communication spread out over different channels and gives transparency to everyone. ### 3. Compared to similar products, Ducalis is just too good-looking for both my users and the development team, including me. - Good integration with other management tools like GitHub, it allows us to import issues from GitHub quickly and setup our roadmap and voting page - For my users, Ducalis' interface is much easier to understand than GitHub Projects, not to mention that the voting feature allows them to have an intimate feeling of involvement in the project. - Excellent support. You can choose from a variety of different prioritization frameworks and invite your entire team to evaluate each idea and request based on that framework. Ducalis also shows you when you and your teammates are not aligned with how you've scored certain tickets, which leads to great discussions. It also has a two-way integration with Linear which is fantastic. It allowed us to score tickets that have already been created in Linear, which made for an incredibly easy initial implementation. You can also create tickets directly in Ducalis, and push them into Linear once they hit the top of your backlog. This has been incredibly helpful for us as it reduces the noise we have in Linear, which allows our engineering team to focus without having to worry about important features getting lost in the backlog. The customer service is also fantastic. They are very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that come up. **What do you dislike about Ducalis?** There's not much to dislike about Ducalis. I do wish it was easier to group issues together, but this hasn't been a big deal for us. Also, the interface was a little overwhelming at first but after using the product for about a week it became really intuitive and powerful. **What problems is Ducalis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Ducalis, we weren't confident that we were always prioritizing the right features because each individual on our team had different perspectives and opinions. This often led to lengthy discussions and cause some things to get missed. With Ducalis we can easily view how aligned we are on the priority of each issue so we only have to have discussions about issues where our alignment is low, which has saved us a ton of planning time. Overall, Ducalis has allowed to ship much faster because it's easy for us to quickly understand which features and bugs we need to be working on first. It also hides your teammates' prioritization scores so you can't be influenced by their opinions until after you've scored that issue yourself. ### 8. Using Ducalis for prioritisation of the backlog helped me understand the approaches and try different prioritisation models and approaches. Now we use Ducalis as a tool to collect customers' feedback and feature requests, along with publishing part of what is in progress, to update our users on what there is to look forward to in the new releases. I personally like the interface because of how intuitive and self-explanatory it is, at each step of my journey, there are docs and videos to explain the features and support me. Some platforms were too complex to handle or to get non-tech people engaged. Others are way too expensive or require a long commitment. Then, I came across Ducalis and from the start, I realised it was the right tool for my team, as it avoided said problems. A super-straight integration and smooth usage helped onboard us and got the team into Ducalis. Furthermore, the support is second to none, as answers are quick and straight to the problem. Actually, as I understand for guys their Voting board functionality is not the core one, the core product is for product teams to score and manage hypotheses and ideas. But our experience started with voting boards and they worked perfectly for us. Cause: - Ducalis has multiple integrations with different task management tools, that allowed me easily upload all my backlog from Youtrack in few clicks; - Setup process was very easy, in 1 day I already had a roadmap with a lot of tickets, which I uploaded from Youtrack; - UI and UX are really smooth - I was able to customise my roadmap in my brand colours, it was important, cause we used it on our subdomain and would like to keep the experience of our users like they using our interface - We got 200+ tickets from our new users in a few weeks and it was quite easy for me to manage them, cause I could score and prioritise them straight away in Ducalis and after I could push it to my dev team ticketing system for the implementation stage already - Users can lease comments and I receive emails straight away. I could see comments in my email and could go and answer again straight away. All who were signed up for this ticket - received my answer and stayed up-to-date. It sounds easy and simple, almost everybody has this. But for me this is a great point, cause before we were collecting users' answers in our feedback form on the website and we kept them in the database. No comment, no email. Really complicated to chat fast with users - Price is super reasonable - And also important for me - guys were really responsive and even implemented some small improvements based on my feedback. The roadmap is a public voting board. So if I push users' requests to my dev team and after the team moves the ticket to the Done stage - I would love to see the initial user's ticket be closed in Ducalis. Now I need to collect updates and manually change roadmap tickets status for users to be informed about the status of their tasks. But I got from Ducalis that they are already on this task. So maybe with other task management systems, there are no such problems. Team prioritization. Before the introduction of Ducalis, the priority was determined subjectively and its approval took a lot of time. Now it is much faster, saves time and effort 2. Gathering feedback from both internal and external stakeholders. We collected it, but there were problems with the transparency of feedback and traceability for stakeholders. Ducalis has solved this problem, although not completely yet (waiting for tweaks from the widget to launch for external stakeholders). 3. The problem of switching between pages or applications. Previously, it was necessary to duplicate information in different tools. Ideas were collected somewhere, and then transferred to Youtrack or somewhere else... With the help of the integration of Youtrack and Dukalis, the process was significantly simplified and the unnecessary work was stopped 4. Internal approval of projects...
