# Which field sales apps stay usable offline when reps lose signal between stops?

Oh this is a real pain for reps driving between accounts in dead zones. The mobile-first field sales apps to look at are Badger Maps and Map My Customers, both are built for reps on the road with route planning and account data on their phone, which is exactly the between-stops use case. To be honest though, true offline capability (queuing updates and syncing when signal returns) is a specific feature that varies by app, so I wouldn&#39;t assume it, I&#39;d confirm it directly in a demo by putting the phone in airplane mode and seeing what still works. Door-to-door canvassing apps tend to be the strongest on genuine offline mode, so if your reps are frequently off-grid, it&#39;s worth comparing those too. How often are your reps actually losing signal, occasional dead spots or rural territories where it&#39;s constant? That decides how much offline muscle you really need.
