I like that there is a simple URL for both my clients and me to remember and that there is a waiting room that clients can wait in while I finish up with another. Also, I like the new updates with the whiteboard to illustrate concepts I'm using in my psychotherapy sessions. It harkens to the share-screen function, which allows me to conduct sessions just as if I was in-person. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** There are very few things that I dislike about Doxy.me. One is that there are sometimes issues with clients joining a call with video and audio synced up, but there is a fairly easy fix for that in-session. Another issue is that it seems that Doxy.me works better on laptops/computers and is more iffy on phones/tablets for clients. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** It seems like the Doxy.me support team is working to fix the issues above. All you need to do is send them the link; once they click the link, they type in their name, and it takes them straight to the meeting. It is HIPAA compliant, and no one else can join the meeting. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** Sometimes it would be helpful to allow a third person into the meeting. Doxy.me does not allow more than two people. But I understand why they do not allow more people, and it is a small complaint for such a great resrouce. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a social worker, so I use Doxy.me for telehealth meetings with my clients. It is excellent because many clients can do it from their phones, as most don't have a computer. And they do not need to download anything to use it. It seemed like there were frequent issues with the site. This was in 2020-early 2021. In this time where everyone is doing so much online from home, quality can be greatly effected just by having kids in the home doing school work. Doxy.me seems to work well with most browsers & my clients can easily access it from computer, mobile or tablet, I also like that I don't need to send a link every time. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** I have had trouble with video & audio quality, There were several periods of time where I was unable to complete a session on doxy.me for several days at a time. I did upgrade my internet at home & that took care of some of the problem. I wish doxy.me had a friendlier interface for multi-person appointments. I like the Zoom interface & screen where you can easily see all participants clearly & wish doxy.me had more of that interface. **Recommendations to others considering Doxy.me:** I find doxy.me meets most of the requirements I have for a telehealth platform as a solo practitioner. Even with the limitations noted above, overall, I am mostly satisfied with doxy.me **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Obviously it is allowing me to continue my therapy practice in the midst of the pandemic. It was very easy for me to start with doxy.me & my clients were able to pivot pretty quickly as well, because of the ease of use. I was new to telehealth & have found that it wasn't as awful as I had always imagined. I am also appreciative of the fee structure- I am a solo practitioner & 35/month seems reasonable to me. ### 18. The website is simple to understand. It was beneficial having a waiting room so that I could see when clients logged into our sessions and then have control over when to invite them into the video chat. During my sessions on Doxy, I woud also have to be monitoring another site, and I never had any trouble toggling between the screens. I was also able to show my screen to clients, which was helpful when I was trying to demonstrate something or share resources. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** There were times when the video would freeze or the video quality was poor or that the call got dropped. This was a rare occurrence, though, and it worked well more often than not. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to figure out a way to provide telehealth services quickly and cheaply. We had multiple members on our team and we were able to each have our own Doxy landing page so it was easy to know who the clients were going to be speaking with. The learning curve was minimal and we were able to get up and running with telehealth sessions very quickly! ### 20. The notifications regarding problems or interruptions to service are also very helpful. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** The signal strength is quite variable - at times, the connection is poor/unreliable, and the audio and video get out of sync. There are also times that a patient will be in the waiting room, but they will not be visible to the clinician unless you log out and log back in. **Recommendations to others considering Doxy.me:** Be prepared to log on and off throughout the day if there are connection issues. Also be aware that using another internet window at the same time may interfere with the connection strength of the video call. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can communicate with my patients via the waiting room (e.g., sessions are running about 10 minutes behind today) and can have multiple patients on a group call, which is especially helpful when doing a check-in with parents where one parent is at home and one is at work - it makes scheduling much easier for everyone. ### 21. Their free version has a very functional format that provides a safe, confidential platform for telemed services. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** Of course, I would love to try their Premium options. Thus far, I have found the features in their free version to suffice. It is likely that if my private pay caseload increases, I will switch to Premium. **Recommendations to others considering Doxy.me:** As with any video conferencing service, make sure you have a strong internet connection with high bandwith. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** My clients and I are not as confident in the more popular video conferences platforms such as Zoom or Google Meets. The main concern is that they have a good internet connection, but otherwise, it works great! **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** I don't have any dislikes specifically. The only issues we ever really have with Doxy.me is the same issues any other Telehealth system would have, lousy internet connection and minimal technical skills for the patient. Doxy.me is very simple to use, but some still have issues getting it working and using it. Nothing specific to Doxy.me though. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed an affordable Telehealth system for our patients that was easy to use and inexpensive for the clinic. Doxy.me is the answer to that, and everyone has been pleased with it. It was so easy to setup, and the clinical staff hasn't had any issues using it. The patients have all had excellent things to say about it, and we haven't had any complaints from them about it. ### 24. All of our patients love that there is no need to make an account. An added bonus for them is that there is only one link they need and it can be bookmarked to click on for each appointment. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** In the beginning, it was hard adjusting to the pandemic. For about two months, the system being overwhelmed as many more users started using Doxy cause it to crash. To my knowledge that problem has been fixed and we rarely get a call from a patient saying that Doxy isn't working for them. **Recommendations to others considering Doxy.me:** Try it for the free month trial and decide for yourself. An all-in-one platform, you won't regret it. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Doxy.me allowed the practice to continue functioning when telehealth became the only option for almost all of the therapists in our practice. I love that I can see which patients are being seen and that I can also send telehealth links to patients if they need it quickly. Getting co payments from all patients has also been made easier with the use of the Clinic account and Stripe Payments. I can easily grab the copay from the patient before their therapist starts their session with them. ### 33. I also allows us to continue our mission of helping our community. With so much being done with phone calls, being able to see each other is important. When one is making decisions about health and other community resources, that supportive and friendly face makes an otherwise challenging process easier and more human. Seeing the smiles on the faces of people and letting them see the reassuring faces of our staff have been what has made us a successful organization for our community. The entire process of evaluation and setup was made much easier for us through live demonstrations and help in customizing the site to our specific needs. **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** There is a bit of a learning curve but support personnel are ever ready to help walk administrators through. I would like to see the ability to add and configure documents for clients/members/patients need to fill out and sign. This process can be a bit daunting for not only those using doxy.me but the people we are designed to serve. **Recommendations to others considering Doxy.me:** My first and primary recommendation is to request that demo to make doxy.me can fulfill your needs. The demo also allows you to see the features that may not be as obvious in the videos. I also recommend that you look carefully at all the options doxy.me has to offer. **What problems is Doxy.me solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many of our clients/members need the ability to meet with our Enrollment and Health Navigations staff in a face-to-face situation. Doxy.me does that. Doxy.me is not just for doctors. There are many practical applications, particularly for social service non profits such as us. The troubleshooting is typically easy to complete on both ends and the free version was so good that my clinic decided to switch to the clinic version after failing with another telehealth software! **What do you dislike about Doxy.me?** The clinic version consent form has been a little glitchy - sometimes not allowing us to scroll, sometimes the patient is unable to sign. We have tried many things from making sure everyone is updated (chrome or firefox), clearing browser history/cookies. Having the patient update their end, clear and refresh. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't so just wondering why that is. **Recommendations to others considering Doxy.me:** Doxy.Me is the most comprehensive, easy-to-use, cost-effective product on the market. When initially looking at companies I initiated a spreadsheet to compare the products and what they offer and Doxy.Me far and away was better than any other company I reviewed (over 15 alternatives!). But for me, as soon as I was told about doxy by a colleague, I was in.
