"Faster Customer Payouts with Direct Employee Access"
5/5
What do you like best about Dots?

What I like most about Dots is that our employees can send customer payouts directly. Before Dots, employees had to ask a manager to send the funds, which added another step and often slowed down the transaction. Now, the employee helping the customer can handle the payout themselves from start to finish. This reduces the back-and-forth with managers and allows the customer to receive their payment without waiting for someone else to process it.

It has also removed a bottleneck from our daily operations. Managers do not have to stop what they are doing to handle routine payouts, and employees can take care of more of the transaction on their own. This saves time, keeps the process moving, and makes it easier for us to handle a higher volume of payouts without adding the same amount of extra work. The time we get back and the revenue generated through the payout process help Dots pay for itself.

We are also exploring API integrations as we migrate to our new system. Connecting Dots to our internal workflows could reduce manual entry and make it easier to manage payout information in one place. The documentation has been helpful while we review the available integration options and determine what will work best for our setup. We are still evaluating the integration, but it could help us build a more connected process and make the system easier to use as our operations continue to grow. What do you dislike about Dots?

I understand that the newer system is still being developed from the legacy platform, so some functionality is still limited or being added. The main area I would like to see improved is the guidance provided for certain settings and features. Some options are not immediately clear, and it can take time to understand what they do or when they should be used.

The documentation has been helpful, but adding short descriptions, tooltips, or examples within the platform would make these features easier to understand. This would make the system more straightforward to use and help users feel more confident when adjusting settings or exploring features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Setup, Frustrating Bank Processing Delays"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dots?

I think Dots is simple to get up and running, which is nice. I also found the initial setup to be pretty easy, making it quick for us to start paying independent contractors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dots?

I find the processing time with Dots a bit frustrating. Some banks are not processing payments for our contractors even though we have paid them out, which is annoying because people want to be paid on time. This delay kind of undermines the main value proposition of Dots. I also think there should be an easier way for our payees to get in touch with Dots customer service. They often come to us with questions about their payout status, and we don't have the answers, so having a direct line to support would be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
