What I like best about DoorDash for Merchants is how much reach and visibility it gives you without needing a huge marketing budget. It puts your business in front of customers who are already ready to order, while handling the logistics, payments, and delivery side of things. From a merchant perspective, it’s a huge time-saver and an easy way to boost order volume and brand awareness without adding extra chaos to daily operations. What do you dislike about DoorDash for Merchants?

The biggest downside to DoorDash for Merchants is the fees—they can add up quickly and really cut into margins, especially for smaller restaurants. It can also feel like you have less control over the customer experience once the food leaves your hands, since delivery issues or delays often reflect back on the restaurant even when they’re out of your control. What do you like best about DoorDash for Merchants?

It's super easy to navigate. I like that when I need a report, I can get it on my phone right away or making any types to changes such as pricing, or marking OOS items. If you own or manage more than one location, it's easy to just select what store you need or you can view all stores on one page. Setting up was super easy! The prompts on the screen once you turn it on ensures you don't make any mistakes. Customer support is great! I've never called them, but directly speaking to my onboarding specialist, he was very helpful and great. I opted to NOT get DoorDash integrated with my POS only because I don't like that I would need to do everything on the backend of my POS instead of doing directly on DoorDash account which is preferably best. I appreciate that DoorDash for Merchants helps us capture as much revenue as possible by having the largest market share among its competitors. This extensive market share ensures we maximize our potential earnings and reach a wider customer base. I also love their excellent customer service, particularly the support we receive from our customer success manager, which has consistently been top-notch. The setup process was impressively straightforward and not difficult at all, as we merely had to send our menu, and DoorDash handled the initial draft, which we then edited. This simplicity in onboarding allowed us to get up and running without any hassle. Moreover, DoorDash for Merchants significantly benefits our business by making our online ordering systems look clean, professional, and familiar, which is crucial for both our guests and staff. It also works seamlessly with our existing systems, integrating with Chowly to connect to onePOS, offering us a unified and efficient workflow. Finally, the pricing, continuous improvements in integrations, and maintaining a strong market share are factors that would make me choose DoorDash for Merchants again in the future. Ordering is an easy process. The delivery is usually very prompt, and drivers are friendly. There is a large selection of restaurants and other establishments, such as convenience stores. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For only $9.99 a month, you can have anything delivered to your door quickly. From tacos to steak to a Slurpee, anything is possible.
