What do you dislike about Docyt? Unfortunately, it has been a bug-riddled road. The team that supports the software, the account manager, primary bookkeeper are all inferior to what should be provided. I am assuming they are understaffed thus the constant issues. Additionally, the software is constantly days or weeks behind, thus negating the real-time aspect. I am very much considering other options at this point. Very very frustrating experience. We really like that they have an integration with most hotel systems. Docyt has the ability to be an all in one system including document management, accounts payable, receipt capture, and reporting. It allows the ability to provide limited access to different team members. Ability to pull USALI formatted financials and to pull reports and KPI on a portfolio basis is a plus. The IOS app is great to quickly research something or pull reports on the go. The team has been responsive to resolve any questions, concerns, and issues. Docyt has a great help center and a suggest feature section which shows they are continually looking to improve the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Docyt? The onboarding was a bit painful especially if you are planning to use your own chart of accounts. Setting access and permission for team members is difficult. They need to add to have preset permissions and ability to copy across different entities. The system keeps auto categorizing expenses without departments Processing bills and receipts require too many steps/clicks. The fact that certain vendors are unfamiliar the team. We have had numerous team member changes that have resulted in inconsistent postings. After a short period of time, the trained AI really does some great work. I use QBO. Although QBO has its own AI capabilities, I find that Docyt takes it up two notches. From bill pay, uploading vendor invoices and receipts, I find Docyt's A.I. faster and more accurate than many of the other software that I've tested/used over the last 6 years. In one central software location, I can: - check to make sure transactions are being recorded (directly from the bank) -Know all of our clients' bills are being automatically process to then be entered into their books -For our bill pay clients, payment are easily and quickly being made with one or two clicks of a button (whether via ACH or checks) In a world where we provide more advisory work, the software and Docyt team take more of the back office work off of our hands. Docyt has been a great financial management tool. The software is easy to navigate, with a user-friendly interface that makes data entry and management so easy. We especially appreciate the helpful prompts to categorize uncoded items, ensuring accuracy in our financial records. We also liked it's interactive upload section. The reminders to add statements and relevant documents for reconciliation streamline the process significantly. And the seamless integration with QBO and payroll accounts was great. But most importantly, the team! From Vaishali in onboarding to monthly management, to Kori as a CPA and overseer, and Lily in sales & marketing, everyone was incredibly helpful and hands-on throughout the entire process. They made the transition smooth and ensured we felt supported every step of the way. We highly recommend Docyt to anyone looking for a user-friendly and efficient AI accounting solution. Of course, as with any AI tool, there's always room for improvement and further development. Some of the journal entry features were not ideal! However, Docyt's overall functionality and exceptional customer service far outweigh any minor setbacks. We are also confident that Docyt will continue to learn and refine its capabilities. Missed Categorizations: Docyt's AI helps us catch uncategorized expenses, ensuring our financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Document Maitenance: The interactive upload section reminds us to include all necessary documents for reconciliations. This eliminates the scramble at month-end close and ensures a smooth process. Reconciliation & Close: The interactive AI tool and back end support team ensure a timely month end close which includes bank and credit card reconcilaition, and other entries (bank, loan, expense reimbursement et al).
