"Secure, Audit-Ready Docs, but Clunky User Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Documize?

I like Documize’s spaces and permissions. I can separate clinic policies from HR content and control exactly who sees what, which matters a lot when documents contain sensitive HR information. I can lock sensitive documents so only particular roles can access them and make sure sensitive information doesn’t reach regular users. I also like having one canonical document with a full change history; our next audit went much more smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

Bulk user administration is quite clunky. Adding users one by one is fine, but onboarding a new clinic meant an afternoon of manual account setup. A CSV import would make this much easier. Our self-hosted setup was moderately difficult and took about three weeks while our infrastructure team provisioned the server, configured the database, and set up backups. I suspect the cloud option would have been running in a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient for Documentation, Needs Better Integration"
4/5
Describe the project or task Documize helped with:

Documize offers a flexible content-block editor that allows for the reuse of modular content blocks, streamlining document creation and updates. However, it lacks advanced response filtering and seamless cloud-collaboration sync, which can lead to additional manual admin work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Documize?

I really value Documize’s flexible content-block editor. It's a game-changer for us when creating technical onboarding guides because we can reuse modular content blocks. This feature allows our small IT team to update documents swiftly without needing to rewrite everything, helping us meet our tight project delivery schedules consistently. The reusable modular content blocks are probably the feature I use the most, as they drastically reduce document creation time. This efficiency is critical in allowing our delivery team to keep up with overlapping project deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Ultimate Solution for Organized Collaboration"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Documize?

I’ve had a great experience using Documize. The UI/UX is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to organize, share, and collaborate on documents. It integrates well with our tools, performs reliably, and has helped streamline our workflow. The pricing offers solid ROI, and the support and onboarding process were smooth and helpful. I also appreciate the AI features, which add extra efficiency to document management. Overall, a strong, well-rounded solution I’d recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

While Documize works well overall, some integrations feel limited and certain features could be more intuitive. There’s also room for improvement in performance speed and expanding the AI capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Knowledge Base Revolutionizing Our Documentation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Documize?

I love Documize's robust version history and permission controls. I can lock finalized DACH marketing guides to prevent unapproved edits, while allowing sales teams to comment to request updates. I also appreciate its embedded content blocks, which let me reuse GDPR-compliant product snippets across battlecards, cutting repetitive writing and keeping our client-facing messaging consistent effortlessly. The native search function performs really well even with our large library of DACH marketing docs. I can filter content by department, product line, or update date instantly. The shareable document links simplify distributing approved battlecards to our remote sales team without messy file attachments, and the access activity logs help us stay aligned with internal data governance rules. What do you dislike about Documize?

Documize lacks seamless native integration with HubSpot, which leads to repetitive manual copying of campaign docs. There's no full German UI translation, which slows down the navigation for the local sales team. The mobile version is quite basic, and field reps find it difficult to edit battlecards while visiting clients. Additionally, there's no bulk import formatting tool, which made migrating files from Google Drive time-consuming, and the training for the German-speaking sales team was prolonged due to incomplete local language menus. "Streamlined Content Management, Yet Lacks Key Integrations"
4/5
What do you like best about Documize?

I appreciate that Documize offers a flexible document structure with granular user permissions, which suit our small furniture manufacturing team perfectly. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, I manage hundreds of marketing files, and Documize keeps everything well-organized without complicated enterprise-level settings. The version control feature saves me a huge amount of time because it automatically saves every revision, and I can mark one version as final to prevent unwanted changes. Its customizable access permissions are excellent, allowing me to grant read-only access to our sales team so they can download product catalogs independently while keeping sensitive documents secure. I also value its built-in structured document templates, which standardize campaign briefs and audience targeting plans, keeping records consistent for performance reviews. The powerful full-text search is another big plus, speeding up new campaign planning by letting me quickly find past campaign copy with keywords. Lastly, Documize is lightweight and easy to deploy without IT support, which is crucial for our company of 11-50 employees without a dedicated tech team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

First, the native file preview is limited for large image files. We regularly upload high-resolution product photos of wooden furniture, fabric close-ups and design renderings. Often I cannot view these large pictures directly inside Documize; I am forced to download every image just to check if it is the correct version. This slows down my workflow when sorting assets for Google ads and social media promotions. It also does not support bulk image resizing or basic photo editing, so I have to jump to another tool to optimize pictures before uploading them for our Dynamics 365 Marketing campaigns. Second, there are no native integrations with marketing automation platforms like Dynamics 365 Marketing. I cannot directly link stored brochures, email text and campaign briefs to our automated lead journeys. Every time I need to insert a product catalog into an email nurture sequence, I must manually download the file and reupload it into Dynamics 365. There is no two-way sync, so if I update a document inside Documize, the copy used in our marketing workflows will remain outdated until I replace it manually. "Centralized and Efficient Knowledge Management with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Documize?

For me, it's the combination of wiki-style organisation, version control, and role-based access. These three work together to solve our biggest documentation headaches. I can structure documentation exactly how our teams work: IT Infrastructure → Networking → Firewall Rules. Anyone can navigate without training. The search actually works – it finds text inside documents, not just titles. Version control flags stale content automatically. Any page not reviewed in 6 months shows up in a report. That's huge for GDPR compliance. I don't have to manually audit hundreds of pages. Role-based access keeps sensitive IT docs away from sales. IT infrastructure guides are only visible to IT staff. Client onboarding checklists are shared with account managers but not support. I set permissions at space, category, or even individual page level. We switched from Confluence and Google Drive. Confluence was bloated and slow. Google Drive was a permission nightmare. Documize gives us a clean, fast wiki. Adoption has been much higher. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

The editor is clunky. Basic formatting works fine. But tables, code blocks, embedded images – that's where it gets fiddly. I've had tables lose formatting when switching between edit and view modes. Code blocks don't always syntax-highlight correctly. For a technical team documenting IT infrastructure, that's annoying. No native integration with Raynet CRM. We use Raynet as our core CRM. Documize holds our CRM workflow documentation, but they don't connect. When a client record changes in Raynet, our documentation doesn't update automatically. I have to manually review and edit pages. A native integration would save my team hours each month. Migrating from Confluence was a pain. No direct import tool. I had to manually copy 200+ pages. Formatting broke constantly – tables, code blocks, images all needed cleanup. That took weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Collaboration, Steep Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about Documize?

We use Documize as our core centralized workspace for all internal marketing documents and cross-team collaboration. We keep campaign frameworks, client project files, brand guidelines and standard operating procedures all in one place for team drafting, collective editing and content reviews. It completely erases the trouble of messy duplicated file versions and replaces inefficient email-based approval routines, successfully cutting down our overall review turnaround time by half. I am most satisfied with its solid version tracking function and flexible custom approval workflows. We can set up multi-level review steps directly inside documents, and automated reminder notifications keep the whole approval process moving forward steadily. It also works well with Asana and Slack, letting us bind documents to specific work tasks and share updates with teammates instantly. The initial basic setup is also simple with official guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

The most obvious downside is its relatively high learning threshold for regular team members. Its interface design is not as intuitive and user-friendly as common document tools. It takes quite some time to get the hang of setting custom approval flows and adjusting fine-grained access permissions. New team members always need systematic training to master basic editing and file searching operations. The absence of role-based guided tutorials also slows down team adaptation and affects daily working efficiency in the early stage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight, Secure, and Efficient Documentation Hub"
4/5
What do you like best about Documize?

What I value most is its stable self-hosted architecture, which lets us store all internal data locally and fully comply with German GDPR data protection rules. As a DevOps engineer, I really enjoy its plain Markdown editing mode, which is clean and straightforward without complicated formatting settings. I can finish editing operational runbooks, fault handling guides and technical specifications quickly in my daily work. It offers practical version rollback and document review mechanisms, so we can always trace every modification record. We can also set detailed user permissions to restrict access to confidential compliance documents. The whole system is lightweight and runs smoothly without lag, and the deployment process is simple enough for our technical team to finish everything in a short time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

The biggest drawback is its weak team collaboration experience. It does not support real-time simultaneous editing, so when multiple colleagues need to revise the same technical document, we have to take turns editing, which affects working efficiency. Besides, it has very few built-in connections with common DevOps tools, so I have to manually copy code content and operational data into documents repeatedly. The system interface is rather plain too, and we cannot freely adjust page layout or build personalized knowledge modules according to our team’s actual needs. "Documize: Seamless Document Management for Diverse Needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Documize?

I find Documize to be the ideal documentation bridge for managing both traditional manufacturing operations and technical AI data projects. Its 'Zero-Folder' hierarchy and composable content blocks make it easy to transition between drafting operational SOPs and documenting complex SQL snippets or project evaluations. It provides the professional structure of an enterprise tool without unnecessary bloat, creating a high-performance space where business logic and technical workflows coexist. I love how easy it is to use, especially due to the 'Zero-Folder' feature, which helps me seamlessly transition between different tasks. The initial setup was also easy and short, making it a convenient tool to start using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

Its interface can be improved. It could be more professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured and Simple Tool for Internal Documentation"
3/5
What do you like best about Documize?

In a previous role, I used Documize to create and manage internal documentation for our team. The platform made it straightforward to organize content into structured pages and keep everything centralized in one place. I also appreciated the clean, focused UI, which made writing and editing documents feel simple and distraction-free. It supported collaboration as well, allowing multiple team members to contribute and helping us keep information current and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documize?

Some features felt limited compared to more established documentation tools, especially when it came to integrations and advanced customization. There was also a bit of a learning curve when setting up more structured documentation spaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
