Pretty but far too expensive and plagued with failures and bugs. **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Tim C. | Test Engineer **Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2022 **What do you like best about dlvr.it?** Good looking interface, support generally responds. **What do you dislike about dlvr.it?** Worst is that 90% of the time it fails at all of its jobs. Fails to pick up items from my source feed (Etsy) until sometimes up to 7 hours later, despite both automatic and manual refreshes. The schedule is 3 hours off from my local time. Log entries are 4 hours off. And despite seeing posted items in my source feed, as well as (!) in the dlvr.it feed (eventually, when it randomly decides to spot the item from the source) it seemingly randomly won't actually post them to any socials. Just gets added to the queue and then gets removed. Plus if you want to add a normal number of hashtags, you either need to pay an overly large fee for the pro plan (sorry, just no) or edit the posts before they leave the queue... assuming you can catch them after they randomly get found but haven't yet posted. The trial period is too limited and too short to have discovered all of these problems. I will say that support has been generally responsive, its just that the answers so far have been mostly "yeah, you can't do that." **What problems is dlvr.it solving and how is that benefiting you?** Attempting to automate posting from Etsy to social media. No benefits - a few successful posts overwhelmed by the stress and work involved in all the other failures. ### 2. It takes the extra time and effort out of routine and mundane posting and is a life-saver! **What do you dislike about dlvr.it?** The free tier is very limited in how many streams/feeds you can set up at one time. It would be much more convenient if there were not a limit to the amount of feeds/streams that you could add to your social channels. **What problems is dlvr.it solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's made posting readings from the Bible easy and effortless. Before, we had to create a graphic, write copy, and schedule each post manually, but now we can hook up our RSS feed and post each day without thinking about it at all! ### 3. I tried many services, and everywhere it was not easy or there were some problems or shortcomings. Only dlvrit coped with the task perfectly and without wasting time on settings ### 4. I check every few months to see if it gets better but this thing never works. **What do you dislike about dlvr.it?** The fact that it never works. You cant set the schedule's 80 times over and the thing never takes. Its a crap shoot what gets posted and what is worse, is that no one cares. This product is awful. **Recommendations to others considering dlvr.it:** I have none because all players out there are so bad at this job. This is obvoiusly well within price range but you do get what you pay for in life. I hate the waste of time setting the thing up 4 times now and we just sit here with hope someone tweaked something in the last however much time to actually get it to work. This is literally the same problem we always have. The thing never works. Its hit or miss. It never works. If its hit or miss, its not working obviously. It needs to post things when its scheduled to do it. Its not a high bar if that is your job. And, it needs to work all of the time. 24 hours a day...every day..not some of the time...not maybe it will work...IT NEEDS TO WORK...ALL OF THE TIME... **What problems is dlvr.it solving and how is that benefiting you?** It could be good if it woks. You can schedule the thing until you are blu in the face and the thing never posts anything. Ihave two things set for posting things at a certain times. They get blown through to no end. Its been an hour since the last posts and its supposed to be every 5 minutes for gods sakes. Its the biggest false sense of security because you sit there pressing refresh and it just angers you more and more when nothing ever shows up. How do you walk away allowing something to maybe work or maybe not. It makes no sense either. Why a program blows off something so easy as time to post and wait a second, the entire spirit and nature of this app is to do the very thing it does NOT do. Which is posts things in automated ways. LOL. Its pretty mind blowing now that I say all of this out loud. ### 5. This isn't an issue with dlvr.it in particular, but rather auto-sharing in general. **Recommendations to others considering dlvr.it:** See above - make sure to vet out the content creator you are autosharing to make sure the content will be a good fit for your brand, since you won't be personally inspecting each post before it goes out. **What problems is dlvr.it solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm able to share quality content regularly without personally being on social media every day. ### 6. Not so hard to control different flows and it is so easy to customize with dlvr.it. I have glue with media so fast. You will have the best way of automatically share. Also, you will have the opportunity to work with the perfect speed of traffic. Quite convenient and saves time. **What do you dislike about dlvr.it?** It happens that the authentication of accounts disappears and there may be no notice about it. Also sometimes limitations in the free version lead to the fact that the news is not as quickly published as you want it . Also, the configuration process is not completely transparent and leaves much to be desired. But in general, everything is fine.. **Recommendations to others considering dlvr.it:** There are other services that do a similar job. But for the time being I have settled on this. **What problems is dlvr.it solving and how is that benefiting you?** I constantly need to plan the publication of various news and updates for the company. This service copes quite well with this task even in the free version. ### 10. Keeping fresh content on each page was almost impossible before Dlvr.it. It is also very cost effective and if you want to manage just one page with updated content, you can use the free version. ### 11. Tech support had no interest in helping me remedy the problem. **Recommendations to others considering dlvr.it:** Until they can explain why some posts drop some content and not others, find a solution that doesn't harm your own reputation. **What problems is dlvr.it solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool is on it's way out for us. Sometimes the artwork sticks with the copy and sometimes not. In the end DLVR.IT support couldn't provide an answer as to what makes it drop, when it will get dropped, or how to avoid it, which makes the entire platform useless for us anyway. No reason to deploy a tool that only does what it's supposed to do a portion of the time, with no help on how to remedy the situation. ### 12. It can post to multiple socials from RSS feeds or other social accounts. It works with multiple shorteners and supports custom ones.
