I like how simple Digits is. The automated features for the general ledger are really helpful. It predetermines some of the categories that accounting and transactions should be assigned to, making it easier and faster for me to approve them. It also allows an easier setup for bill payments, so vendors and credit cards get paid faster. I don't have to review everything since it's all kept inside the software, and I know exactly what's going on at any point in time. This way, I get more accurate financials faster. I think some of the dashboard features could be improved and some of the onboarding features could be improved with guides that get you through the system faster. It was SO easy to set up. I had my entire financial picture in less than an hour. Honestly, I couldn't believe it. I love that it's user-friendly, easy to use, and has an intuitive user interface. I've tried so many other programs and nothing worked as smoothly and easily as Digits. I highly recommend it! I've had almost no issues at all - the only problem I've run into is that Paypal has a setting that's preventing me from setting up the automatic connection to Digits. But every other platform I used linked instantly, and I know this is an issue that they're working on with Paypal. In the meantime, I can upload the file manually, so it's not a deal breaker. I appreciate the AI-native experience of Digits; it was a rare magical onboarding moment. Connecting my bank accounts and Gusto resulted in an incredibly easy setup, with the configuration being 95% complete without any manual input. This level of automation in categorizing and managing financial data allows me to automate bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks almost entirely, which is a huge time saver. Moving financial management tasks such as producing financial statements and planning internally to Digits has been seamless. The fact that the reporting on Digits looks better than what I had manually managed in QuickBooks Online is impressive. Despite being new, Digits offers a user experience that is 10x better than any other accounting software I’ve used over my ten years of managing operations for high-growth startups. I recognize there are small user experience tweaks needed as Digits evolves. However, these are minor and don't impact its overall value. It's still a significantly better user experience compared to other accounting software I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My motivation for seeking out Digits was how painfully slow Quickbooks was to work in. Digits sits on top of my existing Quickbooks instance which my book keeper manages. But now I can check in on numbers in a rapid quick dashboard.

The related benefit is being able to easily see trends, since the dashboard is largely focused on charts and insights on changes period over period. Although you don't have the ability to download reports, there isn't as much need to do so because you can answer most business questions by clicking in to drill down with e.g. an expense category.

Best of all, you can drill all the way down to the specific transaction level to see what' sgoing on.

The 'management reports' are highly polished and I feel proud showing them to my clients, as opposed to the barebones quickbooks reports.

I honestly haven't played around much with any AI-related intelligence since I'm pretty in the weeds, but I imagine it could be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only downside is not being able to export reports, but this tool is really designed for an executive who fully trusts the underlying book keeping and wants to understand the pulse of the business. You can still get as much granularity as you want, but if you're focused on double checking your book keepers work you'll have to do that in QBO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
