## Dice Reviews
  ### 1. Great Platform for Targeted Tech Hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faaz K. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Dice?**

What I like best about Dice is its strong focus on technology professionals, which makes it highly relevant and efficient for both recruiters and candidates in the IT space. The platform provides access to a niche pool of skilled talent, especially in areas like software development, cloud, and cybersecurity, which reduces the time spent filtering unqualified profiles.

I also appreciate the advanced search filters and resume database, which allow precise targeting based on skills, experience, and location. Additionally, Dice keeps listings updated with current market trends and salary insights, helping in making informed hiring decisions.

Overall, its specialization in tech hiring, combined with powerful search capabilities and a large, active talent pool, makes it a valuable platform for sourcing high-quality candidates quickly.

**What do you dislike about Dice?**

One downside of using Dice is that the platform can sometimes have outdated or duplicate profiles, which makes it harder to identify truly active and available candidates. Additionally, response rates from candidates are not always consistent, even when profiles appear recently updated.

The search functionality, while powerful, can occasionally return broad or less relevant results unless filters are applied very carefully. Another challenge is the high level of competition among recruiters on the platform, which can make it difficult to stand out when reaching out to top candidates.

Overall, while Dice is strong for tech hiring, it requires extra effort in filtering and engagement to get the best results.

**What problems is Dice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dice solves the problem of efficiently connecting employers with highly skilled technology professionals in a crowded and competitive hiring market. Instead of sourcing from general job boards, it provides a focused platform specifically for IT roles, which significantly reduces the time and effort required to find relevant candidates.

For me, this specialization means I can quickly access a targeted pool of qualified talent with the exact technical skills I’m looking for, whether it’s in areas like cloud, development, or cybersecurity. It also helps streamline the hiring process through advanced search filters and an extensive resume database, allowing for faster shortlisting and outreach.

Overall, Dice improves productivity by minimizing noise, increasing candidate relevance, and enabling quicker, more efficient hiring decisions.

  ### 2. Highly Effective for Finding Relevant Tech Roles

Instead of going through generic job portals, it helps filter out noise and connects candidates directly with recruiters and companies looking for specialized skills. This benefits me by saving time, increasing the chances of getting responses, and providing access to roles that closely match my experience in backend development and data engineering.

  ### 3. Easy-to-Use Interface That Makes Finding Jobs Simpler

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed H. | Technical Recruiter, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Dice?**

It helps me find jobs more easily, and the interface is user-friendly, clear, and straightforward to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dice?**

One downside of Dice is that candidate profiles and resume details aren’t always fully up to date, which can make sourcing less efficient at times. Overall, the search and filtering tools are helpful, but they could be refined to deliver more accurate, relevant matches especially for niche technical roles. I’ve also noticed that candidate response rates can be inconsistent depending on the situation. In addition, the user interface and reporting features could feel more modern and provide deeper analytics, so recruiters can track sourcing performance more effectively and understand what’s working.

**What problems is Dice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dice helps us quickly find qualified tech talent thanks to targeted sourcing, strong candidate matching, and reliable performance. The ATS integrations work smoothly, the support team is responsive, and the AI-powered search makes it easier to surface the right candidates. Overall, it has improved our hiring efficiency and ROI, and the pricing also feels fairly budget-friendly.

  ### 31. dice review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dishari D. | Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dice?**

Dice is great for tech hiring—its talent pool is full of software engineers, data analysts, DevOps folks, and more. The filters are super helpful too, letting you quickly narrow by skills, location, experience, and other key details.
You also get access to a solid mix of active and passive candidates through their resume database. Plus, they offer market and salary insights that come in handy when talking to hiring managers. If you’re on a higher-tier plan, the AI matching feature can save a lot of time by surfacing strong-fit candidates automatically.

**What do you dislike about Dice?**

Dice isn’t ideal for non-tech roles like healthcare, finance, or admin—it’s pretty limited outside of IT. It’s also on the pricier side compared to more general job boards. Another downside is that you don’t get candidates' email addresses, and often, emails sent to the Dice ID bounce back. That can make it tricky to reach candidates who don’t include their phone number.

**What problems is Dice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dice allows recruiters to access both active job seekers and passive candidates (those not actively applying but open to opportunities). It also provides valuable market data, salary trends, and tech hiring insights that can guide recruiters when advising clients or setting competitive offers.

  ### 32. Smooth Job Search Experience with Dice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishali N. | Technical Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Dice?**

Dice is my go-to platform for tech hiring because it’s fully focused on IT professionals. I like that it allows deep filtering for niche skills like MLOps, cybersecurity, or cloud tools, which helps me find the right C2C candidates faster. The Boolean search options are powerful, and I can easily track candidate activity. It saves me time and gives more relevant profiles compared to general job boards.

**What do you dislike about Dice?**

While Dice is a strong platform for tech recruitment, I’ve noticed that many candidate profiles are outdated or inactive, which affects response rates.

**What problems is Dice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dice helps bridge the gap between skilled tech professionals and recruiters by offering a platform dedicated to IT and engineering roles. It solves the problem of irrelevant profiles by allowing advanced filters, skill-based searches, and tech-specific tags — making sourcing faster and more accurate. This has saved me time, improved submission quality, and increased interview rates with truly qualified candidates.
