I use Devexpress Winform and Office File API. Both sets are almost complete, especially Winforms. We sell software to industry where Windows is the operating system of choice. There is absolutely no reason to switch to any other type of development stack that doesn't even come close to Winform's completeness.

In some new/vanguard technologies (e.g. Blazor), DevExpress uses to lack behind at the beggining if compared to other providers - I think this is a team's decision to focus in an more ideal implementations before shipping solutions to these technologies. I have been using the DevExpress tools for almost 20 years. They shorten the process of taking an idea to a finished product. Most of the time, you can find an example on the support site that is exactly what you are trying to accomplish. If you can't locate an example, you can contact support with what your need and they will point you to an example or write some sample code.
