DealSignal has proven to be a very useful tool in providing leads and contacts. There are a lot of different filters that we’ve used to find make our research as productive as it can be. Nothing, we would gladly recommend DealSignal to anyone who needs a lead generation tool. I had no real issues with the software as it allowed us to hit all of our targets. I like that Deal Signal's technology allowed me to scour LinkedIn profiles for business development and outreach purposes. With Deal Signal, I could set up queries, easily alter them, and then export the results into a spreadsheet to send to my teammates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about DealSignal? Deal Signal has multiple features that were particularly difficult or frustrating. Specifically, Deal Signal's requirement fields were hard to understand and seemed out of order. Ultimately, I thought I would enter logical requirements for a query, but the results were different than what I anticipated. Additionally, the results contain so much information that it is overwhelming. A result row might contain 40+ fields, most of which are useless. Lastly, when uploading fields into Deal Signal for a query, it cannot be uploaded via Excel, and the column titles must be extremely specific. None of this information is mentioned on the site -- instead, I had to contact the founder of the company to help me understand. In general, it's a frustrating service to use -- and it requires a lot of hand-holding to somewhat effectively use the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering DealSignal: I would recommend that other companies check out LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other vendors for mass lead generation to determine how efficient the queries are for the intended use case. While Deal Signal might be great for certain businesses, its queries are not suited to all industries. In the health plan industry, where titles can be unique, no matter how specific or broad my queries were, the precision -- the number of results that were deemed usable -- was always low. For that reason, I had to manually review every result even after utilizing Deal Signal's automated feature. In essence, the work was duplicated, which was a poor use of time. We provide onboarding and customer support to help customers get started with their use cases, setup optimal criteria, and connect & integrate their CRM integrations, along with Q&A. Given the topic or issue, we involve whomever it takes to improve the customer experience - be it customer support, operations, engineering or one of our founders (who is still the chief product officer). With regard to the criteria, we understand your challenge and appreciate your feedback. With more than 10 precision filters on Accounts and Contacts, there more than a few filters from which to choose, and perfecting your Target Buyer Persona Criteria and Target Customer Criteria can be challenging initially, and in certain industries it may require some trial, error and iteration to nail the precision and yet maintain the volume. Please note, we are always here to help provide suggestions or a quick consultation when the persona and account criteria aren't giving you the results you expected. Our team conducted a thorough evaluation and data test across many different providers including ZoomInfo, Clearbit, Insideview, Everstring, etc. DealSignal was by far the most accurate across emails and direct dials. One "trade off" with a smaller and rapidly growing company like DealSignal - you may not currently have all of the product features of a Zoominfo, but your input will be heard and potentially shape the future product roadmap. DealSignal provided us high quality contacts that yielded some of the best engagement we had seen, especially in comparison to contacts from other sources. Working with Rob Weedn was a great experience, too. We were looking for a higher amount of contacts in the time frame in which we utilized DealSignal, but the result was mostly due to a limited ABM list which we had requested be utilized to generate the contacts. We looked at DealSignal to provide high quality contacts to help us generate engaged leads for ABM campaigns. DealSignal provided us the ability to build up a database for campaigns we wouldn't have been otherwise able to fulfill with what was currently on hand. DealSignal goes above and beyond with the quality of what they provide. Any data vendor can give you a list of contacts and call it a day.
