We use it to update campaigns and call them on Five9 **What do you dislike about DB Amp?** Sometimes there are some bugs, and we have to wait until they release a new version. The good news is the Support team is really useful, and they offer a workaround. That in the new version we need to change all the linked server calls to be salesforce.cdata and not salesforece...object **What problems is DB Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We create objects on Salesforce to update them with the data that we integrate on the SQL server. such as student progress. We use it to update campaigns and call them on Five9 ### 2. This simple tool has allowed us to fill the reporting gap created by the Salesforce object structure. **What do you dislike about DB Amp?** My only concern is how to port this to SQL as a service because linked servers are not supported. I have faith that this will continue to be an integral part of our repertoire. **Recommendations to others considering DB Amp:** This is a technical tool and you will need some technical assistance setting it up. Make sure to involve your SQL DBA or tech architect. However, you will receive superb support. **What problems is DB Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reporting! Before DBAmp we had licensed an expensive solution to keep a copy of the database in MYSQL. The performance was terrible, table names were truncated, and the tool used a large amount of Salesforce resources. Now we can do reporting directly from SQL tables via Power BI. ### 4. It just works. **What problems is DB Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Live connection to SFDC via SQL server. Helpful for small and big jobs. ### 5. Much of this is probably a Salesforce issue, but it takes time to troubleshoot. **What problems is DB Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are an integration partner for customers using SFDC and are constantly pushing/pulling data to/from Salesforce and external sources.
