DataXray is the unstructured intelligence layer for the enterprise. It opens every file, reads what’s inside, classifies it against your policies, and acts on the result with retention labels and redaction. Classifications flow into the governance, security and AI tools you already run, such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra and Atlan. Other tools infer sensitive data from metadata. DataXray reads the content, with a 98.7% classification success rate on PII and PCI in English text files. DataXray installs inside your environment, whether on-premises, cloud, hybrid or air-gapped, and is operational in hours. Your files never leave your environment. It connects through more than 55 native connectors, plus a universal connector for legacy systems. Add-on modules for AI access, taxonomy, records, FOIA, eDiscovery and file activity alerting run on top of it. It is in production across government, defense, financial services, energy, healthcare and legal in the US, UK, Europe and Japan.

What do you like best about DataXray?

For my company’s data management, the Data X-Ray of Ohalo has been indeed useful. Compared with manual searching and mapping of similar high-risk data entities, the automated discovery of such data reduces the time required significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataXray?

Ohalo lacks such features as providing tasks, adding comments to the certain data, and defining the proper roles for the users. This makes working and communication difficult and can cause a lot of confusion within the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DataXray?

Using Ohalo’s Data X-Ray I have been able to effectively scan my entire storage infrastructure and pinpoint sensitive data sets. Another advantage can be said about the actual erasure of certain details, which is possible within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataXray?

The shortcoming I found to relate with Ohalo is that there was no historical documentation. I am not able to determine fluctuation in the sensitivity of data at different time intervals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DataXray?

Ohalo quickly and effectively searches immense data from different sources whether On-Premises or cloud. With this general map of data location I am able to always locate where the sensitive data is with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataXray?

Ohalo’s DLP capabilities might not be overly robust. The platform distinguishes between the types of data that require protection, however, controls to avoid disclosing information are missing into the plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
