DataXray builds the unstructured intelligence layer for the enterprise. The company was founded in the UK in 2017 as Ohalo, at a time when GDPR was reshaping privacy expectations and security threats were exposing how little organizations knew about what their files contained. Its platform, also called DataXray, reads what’s inside every file, classifies it, and acts on it. It runs inside each customer’s own environment, including closed, air-gapped networks. DataXray is in production across government and defense, financial services, telecoms, energy, healthcare and legal organizations in the US, UK, Europe and Japan. The company is led by co-founders Kyle DuPont, CEO, and Alistair Jones, CTO, and has offices in London, Atlanta and Calgary. Ohalo Limited remains its legal entity.
