The native integration with OpenTelemetry is the single most important feature about Dash0, making it incredibly easy to implement observability in any environment without proprietary lock-in. The UI is especially focused on being keyboard and developer friendly. This allows users to quickly navigate to specific application and system data. Additionally, the active community support is a highlight as they are still developing the product at a fast pace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being OpenTelemetry native has the downside that not every aspect of observability is fully available yet. For example, the tool currently lacks a mature RUM approach, which is crucial to understand real end-user behavior and transactions. This limitation can make it less comprehensive compared to more established observability solutions on the market that offer a wider range of features out of the box. But the huge potential for Dash0 is there to fill these gaps and still be in line with the whole OpenTelemetry ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
