Cypris Platform Reviews & Product Details

Lately, I’ve been utilizing the agents in their agent library the most on the Cypris Platform, which has been a great productivity enhancer for me and my team. As a software engineer working within the medicine and drug industry, I constantly have to communicate with the research team and understand what can be mentioned, what cannot, what the latest update is on a certain product so that it’s presented the right way. Cross communication with research is my main avenue of communication at the company. The agents —- and the custom agent builder — basically cut out that communication step and checks both our database of information + that of cypris. Setup was a bit tedious, not for me but for the research team who uses it most of the time. I have enough experience with software that setup and technical problems don’t arrive to me as problems; however, for people not so experienced as me, it can be tedious. Ever since we got the cypris platform, my team and I have relied on CyprisQ and the monitoring feature as the core part of our research workflow. We have access to all the Lat Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Little I dislike about Cypris, and maybe we have not used it enough to find any problems. I suppose the only limitation is the lack of MCP/API connectors to other systems like Claude, right now. I can speak on behalf of our senior research team that the agentic monitoring is our favorite feature on the Cypris platform. Our team has always had to manage a vast range of research across different domains. 0, and to be able to have most of the grunt work done for us, and delivered to our entire team at our pleasing, is immensely useful. I like its monitoring systems. It’s monitoring system is some sort of Agentic layer that runs at all times, and gives the user constant updates and briefs about the synthesis of patent, commercial and scientific data as they relate to the topic. It has a variety of uses and I’ve seen it used it a range of ways at my company. From updating research every day to tracking competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don’t like the AI support agent, but this is a pet peeve of mine, as I don’t like AI support agents in general despite how common they’ve become. They’re not helpful and alienating. Other than that, it took a bit of time to setup, with me having to ask some colleagues for guidance early in the implementation phase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has democratized our company’s understanding of IP and clarified our standing in the larger space. The tools on the site are designed in an intuitive way and integrate easily with the other systems we work with. So far, there’s very little I’ve disliked about Cypris, and the colleagues I’ve spoken with about it feel the same. If anything, the setup/onboarding process can take a while in some cases, but that often seems necessary depending on how sensitive your business information is. I really like the ease of use of the Cypris Platform. It also ties in with research groups, which amplifies my own efforts. The search features have been profound for me, helping me significantly and spreading quickly to other areas of the company, which was exactly what I wanted from the start. I find it important to choose between different search vehicles like Deep Thought for comprehensive searches versus Claud or ChatGPT, which helps me understand the capabilities and limitations of the tools I am using. The initial setup was as easy as it gets, since from the moment we were given the license and access, we were effectively up and running. There used to be a function that mapped patents and research to world location to see where things were being researched as well as graphs over time. They may exist still in the platform but I lost where they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Cypris Platform for investigating formulation and market-related questions across a wide variety of applications, and I mostly use the Cypris Q functionality. I love Cypris Q and find it to be reliable, especially with its focus on technical literature. It offers a more targeted search engine experience, providing more relevant, credible resources than a traditional search engine and making literature and patents more accessible. It's also very accessible for initial searches, helping me get a good starting point. I still don't like the traditional boolean/semantic search function. I find it doesn't lead to many useful resources without significant filtering. It has improved, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s great for pulling scientific information and finding detailed patents and research papers to support references. The onboarding process is also excellent. I also like the detailed email review you can set up for notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s slow to get used to if you don’t have a background in AI, but the onboarding was very helpful with that. It would also be great if I could save a preset in a specific mode, instead of having to select it each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use the Cypris Platform for researching new product development ideas, and I find it to be a fantastic 'stage 0' tool. I appreciate the ease of use, allowing easy access to detailed data via Cypris Q for initial assessments, and when ready for deeper research, the citations and papers are very handy for further analysis. The newer features are helpful for keeping information organized and sharable. I also enjoy the project view that allows saving conversations, cited sources, patent searches, and even my own uploaded files, all in a secure way. The projects are sharable with my team, so collaboration is seamless. The initial setup was straightforward, and the team is knowledgeable, frequently introducing new features that are noteworthy. There are still one or two missing links when trying to connect all features that might be easy. For example, I would love to see a 'project' based AI chat section where the Cypris Q can use anything inside your saved project folder as context for further research. This would be an easier way to utilize your own documents alongside saved chats, searches, and papers you've spent time organizing. Cypris is not 'ChatGPT on steroids', and some of the common LLM functions are not present. While it would be cool to see more integrations with tools like Microsoft Office for Excel and PowerPoint creation, I'd rather see continued development into the research side.
