# Which Trustpilot Consulting services handle negative review escalation without damaging brand reputation?

For anyone here who has managed a brand's Trustpilot profile through a bad week: which Trustpilot consulting services handle negative review escalation well, without making the brand look worse in the process?

One overreaction is all it takes. A defensive reply, a flag on a review that was clearly genuine, or a legal-sounding template, and the one-star becomes the story. Trustpilot's rules set the limits: you can reply publicly, you can flag a review that breaks the guidelines for its integrity team to check, and you cannot remove an honest negative. So the consultant's real job is tone, speed and a process the client's own staff will follow.

From the Trustpilot Consulting category on G2, the firms whose model suits that:

Same honest caveat as the hospitality question: the Trustpilot Consulting space on G2 has almost no reviews, so I can't point you to a proven firm for escalation handling based on user feedback. What I can tell you is what to screen for, because negative-review escalation is really a process question. You want a partner (or an internal playbook) with a documented response protocol: fast acknowledgment, moving the conversation to a private channel, a clear escalation path for genuinely damaging reviews, and guidelines on tone so responses de-escalate rather than inflame. I'd ask any candidate to walk through a real example where they turned a bad review around, and to show their response-time SLAs. Are these organic negative reviews, or are you also worried about coordinated or fake ones? That changes the approach.
