The core differentiator is Seva AI, which reads incoming referrals, prescriptions, and other intake documents, classifies them, and extracts the data needed to open an order — reducing the manual scanning and re-keying that typically slows down intake. The platform also checks incoming documentation against payer coverage criteria, helping flag missing medical necessity documentation earlier in the workflow rather than after a claim is denied. On the billing side, Curasev automates real-time insurance eligibility verification (EDI 270/271), claim scrubbing, and denial management, with the goal of reducing avoidable billing errors and shortening reimbursement cycles. Inventory and order fulfillment are tracked across multiple locations, with tools that coordinate warehouse management, shipping, and delivery logistics to reduce stockouts and delivery delays. A secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal gives patients 24/7 self-service access to orders, invoices, and insurance details, along with e-signatures, online payments, and order-status notifications. Reporting dashboards surface claim status, financial performance, and other operational KPIs so providers can track trends over time rather than reconstructing them manually. Two mobile apps extend the platform into the field: Curaway for inventory management at the point of care, and Curapro for delivery route management and driver workflows. Curasev is built specifically around DME/HME operations — HCPCS coding, medical necessity documentation, prior authorization, and capped rental tracking — rather than adapted from general medical-billing or practice-management software.
