**What do you like best about Coviu?**

Ease of Use: It’s super simple for patients. There’s no app to download—just click the link. We cut our “tech issues” calls by 80%.

Video/Audio Quality: The video and audio are consistently clear in HD, even on an average NBN connection. Screen sharing for scans and X-rays stays crisp.

Patient Management + Virtual Sessions: It’s clearly built for healthcare. The secure waiting room, file uploads, and notes are all in one place, which helps keep everything AHPRA-compliant without extra work.

Billing and Payments: The HICAPS + Medicare integration has saved our admin team hours each week. Patients can pay online either before or after consults, which makes the whole process smoother.

**What do you dislike about Coviu?**

The only real downside is the price—it’s definitely a premium platform. For busy clinics that run telehealth regularly, it feels worth it, but if you only use it occasionally, the cost may be harder to justify.

**What problems is Coviu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coviu solves compliance and workflow problems by providing a secure, AHPRA-compliant telehealth platform with integrated billing, file upload, and clinical notes, so I’m no longer juggling separate tools. As an ED specialist, it helps me keep post-discharge follow-ups straightforward: patients can join via a single link with no app download, I can review X-rays and wounds through screen share, and I can claim Medicare immediately. Overall, it cuts admin time, reduces DNAs, and helps keep patients out of ED while still maintaining safety.

I like how easy it is for clients to access the link and join the rooms best

**What do you dislike about Coviu?**

The only real downside is the time starts when the client joins which means if they’re late you shouldn’t rely on the timer

Clients joining easier and not spending time stressed that it’s not working or having to download a program first

We love how easy it is to schedule all of our appointments.

The pricing is a burden. It cost us $128 for two profiles

Being able to use the integrated Boomcards means we don’t have to worry about glitches when screen sharing.

**What do you like best about Coviu?**

Coviu is easy to use, both for me and my clients. I can work with clients across Australia who wouldn't otherwise have access to care due to remoteness and/or a shortage of psychologists in their area. It's also beneficial to me, allowing me to practice and generate additional income from the comfort of my home. I have been using Coviu for more than 6 months on a weekly basis, I haven't experienced any real issues with clarity or connectivity.

**What do you dislike about Coviu?**

The only issue I have is that when a client accesses the service from their a phone, if they receive a call it disconnects them from the Coviu platform.

**What problems is Coviu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coviu allows me to operate from home, reducing costs of operating or renting an additional clinic space.

My login expires every day, which isn’t helpful when I’m doing telehealth every day.

**What do you like best about Coviu?**

I really appreciate that Coviu offers a professional experience that mimics an in-person waiting room and clinic environment, which is crucial for telehealth appointments. I find the extra features, like the whiteboard and waiting room tools, extremely beneficial. These tools enhance client interactions by enabling more engaging conversations and deeper understanding, maintaining a high level of professionalism in our meetings. The platform is specifically geared towards health professionals, making it a better fit for my practice than other software like Zoom, as it presents a more professional appearance tailored to healthcare needs. The setup of Coviu was very easy, and it seamlessly supports my practice requirements. I am so impressed with Coviu that I would highly recommend it to friends and colleagues, rating it a perfect 10 on the likelihood to recommend scale.

**What do you dislike about Coviu?**

I sometimes experience lag when using the whiteboard, which can be disruptive during sessions. Additionally, there are moments when the client can no longer hear me while I'm using the whiteboard feature, which interrupts communication and requires technical fixes to ensure I'm heard while illustrating on the whiteboard.

I find Coviu professional and suited for healthcare, with tools like the whiteboard and waiting room enhancing client interaction and understanding, while streamlining patient management.

Signing in every single day. I would like an easier log in process or remain logged in on my work PC

I use Coviu in my counselling private practice. It is the best platform on the market. It’s seamless to use, secure and very clear audio and video quality.

**What do you dislike about Coviu?**

There isn’t anything I don’t like about it. It’s just right for my business.  
I have not used all the features but ones I’ve used I can’t complain.

**What problems is Coviu solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Video and Audio quality was an issue with previous platform. 
The quality for my clients to attend online sessions is excellent. 
I’m an online only business so I need reliability and Coviu has consistently given me that.

It can be a bit laggy at times, especially when I’m using a background filter.

The ability to see patients remotely and administer cognitive assessments remotely is very helpful.

**What do you like best about Coviu?**

Coviu is so simple to use. No software or anything to install for the patient. It just works from any browser and pretty much any device. The other great thing is the camera test and that video is on as soon as the call starts (no need to ask the patient to turn their video on).
Other good things - the waiting room for patients and the low cost per month.

**What do you dislike about Coviu?**

There's nothing really to dislike, the product does what it says.

**Recommendations to others considering Coviu:**

I would recommend using the free trial and trialling it with a few patients. I almost immediately liked it and then I was hooked.

To establish a fully functioning telehealth service. I have achieved what I set out to achieve and patients seems to love it.
