**What do you like best about Coupa?**

Provides some basic workflow tools and is connected in to ecosystem providers like amazon.  approval workflows are rigid and inflexible, but reliable

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

Where to start! This is a completely mediocre product whose UI is stuck in 2008 and with no functionality innovation in the past 5 years.  Since going private under Thoma Bravo they have given up on any semblance of innovation and are now years behind their peers.  Absolutely zero AI or intelligence embedded - cannot even do basic PO to invoice matching in any reasonable way. Software is highly inflexible and requires you to change your business process for Coupa, rather than fueling your business.  commercial terms are exploitive because they know they are hanging on for dear life.  If you are a customer, be proactive and get off before your next renewal. If you are looking at it, save the time and stop now

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coupa makes our AP teams very slightly more productive.  But frankly, we could easily do what coupa does with +1-2 FTEs at a much lower expense. Certainly we could do the work with agents and a basic workflow tool.

**What do you like best about Coupa?**

I like the simple and intuitive management of purchase orders in Coupa and its history for performing specific searches. The integration with Slack and email for notifications is a great help to stay on top of updates. I also found that the initial setup was very simple.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

Receiving purchase orders is a bit tedious, and generally canceling the receipt of a purchase order is a bit more complicated. Additionally, modifying the amounts and quantities of a purchase order generates an error that completely invalidates that order.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Coupa to manage purchase orders and schedule invoice payments, improving efficiency with an intuitive interface and helpful notifications.

**What do you like best about Coupa?**

I use Coupa for uploading invoices to our Customers. I appreciate the supplier portal that lets our business view and track the progress of invoice approval and expected payment dates without needing email replies. I find it easy to use for matching our Invoices with Customer Purchase Orders. I also enjoy that I can export a complete history of uploaded invoices to a particular customer for my reporting needs. The initial setup was very easy.

There is nothing i don't like about the Coupa Supplier Portal

I use Coupa to upload invoices, track approvals, and expected payment dates, reducing email reliance. It's easy to match invoices to purchase orders and export invoice history for reporting.

I like the option to copy invoices from previous ones, and I also appreciate Supermash, which lets you create new invoice entries directly from the inbox.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

I dislike the format. It's a little bit outdated, and while they're changing it in the invoice tab, other tabs still have the previous format.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coupa is an excellent tool for organizing all of a company's expenses. Each expense can be coded to the specific department that is responsible for it, ensuring there is always a clear understanding of which department is utilizing each expense. As an accounts payable representative, I find it much easier to submit and track invoices using this system.

I like that it’s a safe, trackable platform with a well-defined approval chain, and that I can easily see the status. It’s also easy to find requisitions and POs, and it has the ability to extract data into an Excel spreadsheet.

Sometimes I have to enter the same information multiple times. Also, when I submit a change order, it isn’t automatically fed into Malbek (contracts).

The ability to connect with the contracting platform (Malbek) makes it easier to link contracts to POs, as well as track invoices and expenditure.

The visibility and control it gives me over spend I can easily track purchases approvals invoices and expenses all in one place instead of juggling multiple systems or spreadsheets The automation saves a lot of time things like 3 way matching and expense approvals move smoothly and I don’t have to chase people down

the system can feel slow and clunky at times especially when navigating between modules or uploading receipts through the mobile app It’s powerful but not always the most seamless experience Also some suppliers find the portal confusing which sometimes delays transactions on their end

Nothing - there are no redeeming qualities

Coupa is without a doubt the worst procurement software I have been forced to use as a vendor in 15+ years of SaaS sales.  It's like it was built in the early 2000's and hasn't been updated since.  It is NOT user friendly and NOT intuitive for a vendor submit a simple invoice to be paid.

Every company considering using Coupa for the procurement process needs to know how painful of an experience they are creating for their vendors.

Absolutely none - it's creating problems for me.

I love how user-friendly Coupa is; it makes buying things for work feel easy. Everything from creating a purchase request to submitting an expense report is straightforward and all in one system.

There are multiple requirements and back and forth being sent when submitting an expense report. Wish it was more streamlined and simplified when finding reasons why it was rejected, how to mitigate, felt that at times I was searching for the answer.

**What do you like best about Coupa?**

Coupa is able to handle both complex and simple tasks which provides a variety of uses depending on the size of your business. I primarily used this to track receipts and request payouts for business trips, purchases, and stipends. If I used my purchasing card, the purchase would auto populate which was great for visibility to my managers and for my own knowledge. Great product overall!

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

The mobile interface was not ideal, I preferred to use the web version for ease of use. At first it took me a bit to wrap my head around navigating the program, but it was still relatively quick to learn and pick up when I needed it.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well it is solving multiple problems across the org, which is what is great about Coupa, there are functions that relate to our finance and AP teams that I don't even touch, but it helps streamline financial payouts and processing across the board. I know a lot of teams heavily rely on it much more than I do, but while using the product I have enjoyed the simplification it provides for users like me.

I like Coupa because of its best management of supplier base and easy tracking of their performance. It's best integration with ERP system is another advantage.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

We struggled to integrate a supplier once and even the customer support was not able to help immediatley.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The supplier spend analysis is a huge plus with Coupa. It is easy to find everything at one place and export the data required in easy steps. I like handling the contract in this application which feels hassle free as we used to just use the SharePoint before which was really difficult to track the expired contracts.

The fact that you can calculate the inherent risk from the beginning of contracting, and after that you know for sure if the vendor is good or not for you. Based on the inherent risk you can send the proper questionnaire which is really useful.

By default, Coupa doesn't have so many interesting feels, so basically you have do request it directly to Coupa to develop it for you.

I have been using Coups for alomst 3 years. It is very User friendly and simple to use. The way it is implemented is very User friendly and it can be integrated with other tools as well.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

To claim any travel expense, we need to create a report and submit. For that first we need to click on "Travel & Expenses" button which is placed at the top of the page. This button is not highlighted and this is not made with bold font. So User doesn't think that this is a button that he/she needs to click on to proceed further. This is the only observation I had.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usually I use this tool to claim expesense such as Internet bill, travel expense and so on.

I’ve purchased a lot from person vendors and it makes it difficult to keep up with everything. I really like that it can all be in one place, so you don’t have to go searching for hours. On Coupa you can look it up and find the vendor within seconds. 
One of my favorite features on Coupa is the invoicing. It takes no time to verify that the order was created, shipped and received.

There really wasn’t anything to dislike on the Coupa end. I just wished my job would have added more vendors

Coupa is sloving the hassle of finding products, keeping track of invoices, having communication with vendors, having the same view as vendors.

PR-PO module is quite simple
UI is good

Contract module offered under Sourcing needs to be improved. It does not have many features.

Honsetly I can not find one thing I can say positive about this software. Even working with customer support I still could not get an account registered.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

From the supplier side this is the most diffult software I have ever used. I've been doing billing for 20+ years and work with many plaforms. Coupa makes it nearly impossible to register your account . I spent over an hour with Coupa support and still could not get the program to work. I had to contact the client and have them complete the set-up on thier end.

Not doing anyhing to help the vendor.

can do the invoicing, PO etc. Yes, it has the functions you want.

As supplier, I think the web is poorly designed. Here are some of them:

1. You got kicked off every 10min and you have to refill all the info afterwards. At least you should auto save the filled contents.

2. The format verification is missing, so accounting can't continue if your address is 123 street #101 or 123 ST STE 101.  And if that happens, you must withdraw your request and re submit.

3. Every time you have to re register for a new client, which took at least 2 hours.

4. The UI is confusing. Too many notices and warnings. For example, you will get the same notice every single time you log in.

**What do you like best about Coupa?**

I really like utilizing the Analytics sectoin of Coupa.  It took awhile to get the hang of, but there is an abundance of categories, filters, etc. to choose from, in order to streamline it for my organization.  I'm also able to pull raw data from variants I have built in Requests, Invoices, Suppliers, etc. in order to ensure that my tiles and dashboards have been set up correctly.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

I do not feel like there is enough support related to catalogs and cXML invoicing. I would like for there to be a better way to have it made public which suppliers offer catalogs (not just the Coupa Advantage suppliers).

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coupa has been beneficial lately in giving customers the option to have a more guided experience, where the "Write a Request" button used to be.  We will be utilizing this to tie policies and links to, so that the experience is easier for the end users.  This will end up aving them time and encouraging them to use the system more often, and with more confidence.

**What do you like best about Coupa?**

I work in SIM daily so having a place for all our vendors is nice.  The system is user friendly and the modules integrate well together.  I wish we had more.  We use P2P, SIM, invoicing.

Implementing SIM once the vendor has entered their information works very well and the integration to SAP is nice.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

The vendor has a difficult time navigating the system which is frustrating.  They get lost tryng to get to our form sometimes as Coupa has many screens they want information from our vendor.  I also don't like the way these Coupa screens appear as though we are asking for the information.  This is makes it confusing and ethically questionable to the vendor who is asking for what.

My only experience with Customer Support is I have referred a vendor use them when they had a question and all they did was refer them back to me.

I'm still new so not really sure on this.  I do not have them working on anything specific at this time.

**What do you like best about Coupa?**

Coupa, really streamlines the process and really takes the pressure off having an employee to maintain the whole system. You only have to locate items once you have linked in the vendor as once the order is approved the PO is cut and automatically sent out.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

Reporting is somewhat difficult to tailor to your needs as what we need requires elements from Requisition/Orders and the Inventory side. Due to this you cannot just schedule a report to be sent out, there ends up being manual work required. Also just looking at what hasn't been received isn't effective when taking into account the service PO's. Those PO's are an invoice approval not a receipt and I have yet to find a way to track what has and has not been completed in the system. We also have issues linking new system and old and utilizing the items for ordering section effectively.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The delay in ordering while waiting on the buyer to get to your email, the delay in approvals, the delay in going back and ordering once approved, and allowing greater visibility of the process.

I like to have the whole S2P experience in Coupa, from sourcing and contracting down to invoicing. The tool feels very easy and user friendly to use.

**What do you dislike about Coupa?**

I've had a lot of user complaints about the sourcing functionalities, and also the SIM forms and Risk modules are not very easy or intuitive to configure as an Admin. Especially the Risk module requires more knowledge than all, so if someone comes from no Coupa background is almost impossible to become a CRA expert like it's possible with the other modules.

**What problems is Coupa solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing issues should be prioritized since it highly impacts the S2C users. Furthermore, easier functionalities for process Automator should be focused on.

Treasury section, which includes sections for loan management, interest calculations, the ability to link several companies within one tool. Clear reports, cash-flow and payment via SWIFT, a huge advantage!

Sync between Coupa Core and Coupa Treasury, sometimes it goes not so well.

Collecting data from every companies one one place. Not anymore using excel sheets, sharepoint, etc.

Coupa is an extremely robust platform that will help mature and take your business to the next level. Thier P2P system is very user friendly and customizable.

The SIM has been very challenging to implement and we had some tough few months. Hardest part is to get the suppliers on board. It has smoothed out now. Also, since not all of our company has licenses, we cannot include them in Sourcing events so we have to send them responses and messages manually outside of the system.

One thing I dislike about Coupa is How long it takes to change certain things that are definitely a pain point and have been addressed in Community. Also, the pointless enhancements that make no change and are not synchronized across the platform. For example, making the hover over not clickable on some objects but making it hover then click on others.

Coupa allows us to submit our receipts for off-sites or company events to be reimbursed for. It is easy to use, with drag and drop uploading and you can easily see the progress of your request.

It takes a few days to be reimbursed, but this is due to internal people needing to double check each request.

Coupa helps my org keep track of who is spending what on company stipends. It allows me to easily upload my expenses for reimbursement, in a stress free and easy way!
