"(6.5/10) - Coro has some great features, but the support needs to be approved upon."
3/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

What is great about Coro is the 'Report Phishing' button add-on for email, which is very easy to role out. Since the 'Report Phishing' add-on has been enabled, there has been an increase in users reporting phishing. This has helped us identify email threats much quicker and efficiently. On top of this, when an email is flagged automatically by Coro, or by the user manually, it is easy to remove the email for everyone else in the organization. Coro also makes it very easy to block, or allow emails, either 1 time or add the particular email address to the allow/block list.

It is also great that Coro quarantines files marked as malicious, this way you can respond accordingly and not have to jump the gun each time. The quarantine allows us to trust that the malware is contained, and that we can conduct investigation when we have time without much worry.

The other part of Coro that works well, is detecting PII, PCI and other sensitive information within emails sent, and on device endpoints. This allows us to see who is sending sensitive information, and storing it. Which thus allows us to respond with policy accordingly.

The last part I like about Coro is the ease of use of creating policies and applying them. Our firm uses the 'Block mass storage devices' and 'Block portable devices' option, which allows us to block USB access and restrict phone access to only charging allowed. This helps keep our physical security posture better, as we can scan USB's on dummy machines before entry into our firm devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

As mentioned in the title, Coro has great features but the support needs to approve. On top of this, there are some features that are supposed to exist, that either don't or don't work the way they are supposed to.

For instance, for any ticket that comes in, whether it's access policy violation, phishing email, malicious software, infected process, the comment on the ticket is 9.5/10 times very generic and doesn't provide any insight into the issue at hand. While we appreciate the quick process of Coro for detecting suspicious activity, we sometimes need more than just a generic response. You can always reach out, but the support is still minimal. Something that would improve this experience is a quick note on why something was detected and the recommended steps in solving the issue.

Also, one feature that has not worked for us is the detection of PII and other information within images. Support had mentioned that the images need to be of certain quality for detection, but this has never worked for us (we send many images containing PII) and our images are not low quality. This is an instance of a feature that should work, but doesn't work properly and the support again was very minimal.

Aside from a few aspects of Coro that need a lot of improvement, a couple of features would make Coro even better.

1. Being able to scan USB's from the console before allowing access to them.

2. When malicious software is quarantined, there should be a secure way for Coro admins to open the file or have access to transfer the quarantined file to a dummy machine/isolated computer to check the file out as there are often false positives. The quarantine is great, but it does make it hard to double-check what was detected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Your concerns about support and feature functionality are important to us, and we're always working to improve our users' experience. "Coronet is amazing! They have an excellent product that protects us from would-be phishers!"
5/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

Coronet makes keeping our email protected easy. It makes it so easy to see any potentially concerning issues with our M365 environment. Also their Geofence is fantastic. You can limit what countries users are able to send emails. This protects us from would-be phishing attempts from regions of the globe known for hacking. The moment that account is logged in from a region outside of their home region, the email account is shut off! Since we pay for Coronet's premium service, we have a team of security professionals watching our email 24/7. This gives us such peace of mind! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

We were an early adopter of Coronet. While there were some growing pains along the way, they really have a top-notch product now! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great products!"
5/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

What I have seen with Coro is that the software works as expected. All of the modules are top notch and work well. I have tested the ATP/AV and it works as well as ESET. When I moved a bunch of data from my OneDrive to a server the Data Loss Prevention caught the move. The M365 and Google Workspace integrations are extremely simple and easy to implement. What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

The customer support is still learning, yet when given all of the issue they are able to recommend good solutions to resolve the issue I had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Coro is a simple and modular solution for lots of things"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

We use the EDR module only, as our other needs were already covered by other solutions. As a person with IT admin roles on my list of duties, rather than an IT professional full-time, I value simplicity, automation, and support, and Coro ticks all the boxes. Sales and support have been great to work with, the implementation was easy and someone was available to help me with any issues that came up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

The notifications and warnings aren't intuitive for people who don't live and breathe IT, and documentation was tricky to find; however, once I talked with support and found the documentation, my questions were quickly addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Coro delivered value during our trial period."
5/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

Easy to set up, and clear what actions are needed. When we were going through a security audit with one of our customers, we needed to show proof that our anti-virus was updated regularly. With Bitdefender built into the product, we didn't have an easy way to demonstrate this fact. The Coro team was on top of it and arranged for an affidavit signed by their CTO, which enabled us to pass our security audit. They take customer satisfaction seriously. What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

We have been very happy with Coro and can't really think of something we don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

I wish Coro had more functionality in Google Workspace. Particularly, integration with Google Drive to secure cloud files and sharing. The malware in Cloud Drive feature is great to have, but I would like to see more with file sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Addition for Cybersecurity and a great SOC with fast Updates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

Coro was about the easiest to implement. With just instituting the basics with Microsoft 365, being able to just click on the add-in, and then receiving the response from their SOC is a great feature. We even notified them of our phishing testings custom domains we use for our employees and contractors, and when the employees report them, they get the same response, but the domain(s) aren't blocked. This was a solid addon to our current systems in place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

It would be an even greater addition to our cybersecurity if we could put it in front of Microsoft's Defender platform. But even with it in a secondary role, the items it catches that Microsoft doesn't, and the solid remediation by Coro's SOC make this a great solution nonetheless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rachel Cheyfitz of Coro Cybersecurity

We're glad to hear that you find Coro Cybersecurity easy to install and that you appreciate our great interface and solid support structure.

"Coro honestly changed the way that I approach cybersecurity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Coro Cybersecurity?

Working as the IT manager in a small business with less than 10 employees, I often find myself having to wear many "hats" at the same time. Cybersecurity was a major issue that took up a lot of my time overall, and switching to Coro from our previous provider (Bitdefender) was a major shift for me in my day-to-day workflow. I'm able to let Coro handle the everyday monitoring and scanning, and I trust that it will alert me if there is anything that needs my attention.

Setup was very easy indeed, just a simple case of a quick session with support and then integration with our Office365 solution, and it was off and running. We have it monitoring the endpoints on every single computer and laptop that we have in the business, as well as deploying the reporting tool in Outlook as well, which has meant that every report from an employee that was landing in my email of spam, phishing, or something else is now being directly reported to Coro.

Overall, I can't say enough about how much this has made at least one aspect of my role so very much easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coro Cybersecurity?

Honestly, we haven't found anything. We've been using it for around 6-7 months now, and everyone in the business prefers it and finds that we are getting less spam and phishing emails overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
