We&#39;re a two-person IT team covering a mix of Hyper-V hosts and physical servers and Checkmk has been pretty solid. The auto-discovery got us 80% there without a lot of manual work, and the community edition didn&#39;t require us to count hosts or sensors. Zabbix is capable but honestly we didn&#39;t have the time to babysit the config.
