## Cornerstone Learning Reviews
 ### 1. Fantastic learning management system with lots of customizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie C. | Tech and education manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone provides great quarterly updates that consider users' input. The learning management system is highly customizable and offers a unique experience for each user type. From an administrative side, the tool is robust, provides easy content and user management, and has a fantastic reporting tool.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Their product support is excellent for first-line problems, but getting to the root of more advanced problems can be challenging and time-consuming. There are still features (like the test generator) that need some work on usability, but overall the system is fantastic and gets the job done better than most LMS's out there.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Take that leap! The product really is so amazing and dynamic and don't be afraid to use the Success Center and Cornerstone Help - they are both fantastic resources!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization helps non-profits utilize Cornerstone to extend their reach and accomplish their goals! We use the learning management system in various ways, including virtual events and a wide range of organizations/users. The tool has proven to be very robust, and I'm constantly amazed at all the things I can accomplish with it.

 ### 2. Been using for over 10 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary F. | VP of Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The scalability and flexibility. We can deliver so many offerings that meet our compliance needs and technical ones as well. They have recently updated to "Learner Home," and we are launching that page in December of this year. Also, the Leadership and Development training options are very comprehensive and cover all topics and even some cutting-edge ones.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Difficult to learn at first. However, that was ten years ago, and the implementation process has matured.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Great product for us. Has the ability to be deployed at various levels and reported on as well.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting training standardized and delivered to multiple disciplines in over 30 locations across 6 states. It has led to better quality outcomes which are critical in our line of healthcare. Also it allows us to have streamlined training for our hundreds of volunteers annually.

 ### 3. From stone ages to the future, Cornerstone was around the corner! Great Experience & Happy Employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethany F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

We love its simplicity! Less is more for our organization as our sector is especially slow to adopt change while dealing with a vast amount of politics. The great news is Cornerstone puts that all aside and allows the organization's core, the employee, to own their learning journey. This was not always the case. Our organization did not always have a culture of learning and development until Cornerstone Learning was implemented. What used to be in-person classes, endless paper approvals which were difficult digitally to sign, a constant battle with accounting for going over the travel budget due to being in a costly state, and overall was just a negative experience from the very thought of even considering taking a course either by choice or by requirement, has turned out to be an enjoyable, easy, and more meaningful experience for our learners. With the emergency remote work due to the pandemic, the implementation of Cornerstone came at a perfect time in which new behaviors, skills, and learning styles were adopted. Most do not like change, let alone embrace it, yet Cornerstone Learning was simple enough for our users to adopt. It has completely revamped our onboarding process and changed how we approach continuous learning while allowing us to be proactive about compliance rather than reactive. We are at a point where we are considering other complementary solutions in our organization's roadmap to continue growing our employees and, more importantly, retain them, keep them happy, and move them forward in their careers.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

When we were in the consultation phases, viewing a full demo of the product's capability would have been helpful. Our meetings were general discussions with no visuals, and the thought process of leadership supporting this method was "seeing the LMS" in action would take away from our prospective unicorn that would meet all our needs and desires. Our leadership did not truly see the "big picture." As a result, our administration settled based on the dollar amount. After realizing more solutions could have been included with our negotiated package, we had to add more items that could have made an even more value and a positive experience from the beginning.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping employees engaged and excited; increasing employee satisfaction; lower attrition, reducing costs related to learning and development; updated and new content is constantly available

 ### 4. Cornerstone Learning is the Top of the Line Learning Management System

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

As an Admin at my organization, there are many things that I like about Cornerstone Learning. We use Learning to administer all of our annual compliance-required training and I would say that is where it has been the most beneficial. We can easily assign it to the desired audience and track the completions needed for audit requirements.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There are not very many things that I can honestly say that I dislike about Cornerstone Learning. It is a great product and they have a lot of resources to be successful. One thing that you really need to be careful is with updating courses and curriculum with reversioning. Overall it is a great tool.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a financial institution, we have very strict audit requirements. Using Cornerstone Learning to implement yearly audit required and compliance trainings is very beneficial to my organization.

 ### 5. A guarantee of success

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia G. | learning senior specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Functionalities, playlist, it is very easy to use for learners and you can adapt the options deciding to offer more or less info. to employees

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Customization is possible but not as much as we would like. For admin users, it is not an intuitive tool, it take some time to master it! As well the reporting function could be improved by using POWER BI metrics, it needs to be more visual.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managing on-site and online training in one place for all our employees. Increase employee engagement and satisfaction.

 ### 6. Learn Skills Beyond your Job Title

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone offers hundreds of learning courses from microlearning 5 minute classes to multiple day courses offering certfication.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Administrator functions can be difficult

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in reporting compliance statistics and creating learning devlopment plans

 ### 7. good for onboarding or knowledge refreshers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica P. | UX Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I can learn from material to learn from, not just what is assigned to me. There's also an events calendar where I can attend live sessions. The material consists of recordings and quizzes, so it's engaging and ensures I am learning it.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The reports component is a little complex with the "and" logic. Feels more like a technical reporting tool than something for an end user. This is where you find competed courses.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localizing onboarding content so you can track the status of completion. You can also review content in the company if you want to learn more, not just what is assigned to you.

 ### 8. Easy SCORM and AICC imports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric G. | Sr Technology Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone easily imports both SCORM 1.2 and 2004 as well as AICC content developed in Brainshark.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

While the import process is much better than most LMSs, there remains a large amount of metadata that needs to be manually input. This can be managed with bulk loader templates, but this process is still time consuming.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing content using Brainshark allows our SMEs to rapidly develop learning content that can be deployed in Cornerstone.

 ### 9. Cornerstone has the Corner on the Market -- Always Growing and Developing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer W. | Professional Development Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The various delivery modalities that it offers for learners; All of the offerings that Cornerstone has!

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Set up was a struggle but we made it through and love it; A big piece of this was on us as you have to have lots prepared as you do with any system

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our training is delivered through this system. We no longer have to manually track anything!

 ### 10. Robust and customizable but will require hard work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I enjoy how customizable Cornerstone is and how it can be adapted within your workplace. After fully utilizing it's native offering, the API's opens up even more opportunities to fine tune the system to fit your needs.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

While it is super customizable, it sometimes falls just short of meeting some of our needs. However, it just means you need to be more creative and to modify some policies/procedures to match with Cornerstone.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It mainly solves our compliance needs as way to deliver and track crucial trainings. It is also used for professional development with the integration of additional content providers to fit our diverse workplace.

 ### 11. Cornerstone Learning Works!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan C. | Senior Talent Development Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I love the Learning functionality, it records registration, allows me to complete rosters accurately, and I can report on those factors easily. I also love that I have the ability to assign courses to employees dynamically, so I can set up a training assignment once, using their OU Group functionality, and then I never have to do it again. The assignment will continue for all applicable employees until I end it. This saves me so much time as a system administrator!

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There isn't much that I dislike about CSOD Learning, it is very intuitive and easy to use. One of the items that I wish would be updated is the order of some of the options in creating events and sessions; the "Restrict withdraw" option is in an unconventional area and can be hard to find if you are unaware of where it is.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our company, CSOD Learning helps us solve reporting issues. Since all actions are now tracked through CSOD, we are able to easily report on who has completed training and who has not. Before CSOD, we tracked everything on Excel spreadsheets and it was extremely difficult to ensure employees were in compliance during an audit. Now we can pull a custom report and give the auditors the information they need immediately!

 ### 12. Wonderful LMS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like the customization that Cornerstone allows us as admins in our portal. We can literally create just about anything we want, within reason of course.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Some of the learning logic doesn't always add up and prevents us from easily accessing the information we desire through reporting. However, I will say that Cornerstone continues to improve its reporting fields and features each year, so I'm hopeful some of the suggestions that have been submitted will be included in future release updates.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most recently, an email tag was not working properly to populate a field of information in our system default emails that trigger to managers when training was completed. After a couple of months of digging, their support team was able to resolve the issue and this tag is now working properly for us.

 ### 13. My experience has been very favorable.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles P. | IT Solution Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The upside of learning with CSOD is the ability to have a wide variety of learning resources and the ease of maintenance.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The most disappointing part is the current lack of automation of mundane and repetitive administrative tasks.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cornerstone is becoming our Enterprise Learning and compliance system. This all-in-one approach reduces our costs and overhead.

 ### 14. Meets all of your learning needs!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie G. | Learning & Development and Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The platform offers a range of abilities, from hosting SCORM packages, video content, curriculums, annual complicity training etc. One you learn how to use it effectively, it is easy to accomplish all of your learning needs. There is a bit of a learning curve though, depending on your experience with other LMS platforms. However, they do offer a number of training modules to support you.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Some of the features require to add on costs, such as a Microsoft Teams integration for virtual events. When needing help, their support centre can be rather slow to investigate the issues and help.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to set up several types of training across our company at the same time. We work in different time zones and have different requirements for team members by location and role, the permission settings help us to keep everyone organized.

 ### 15. Upskill current talent and Drive Learning Solutions with Cornerstone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittney B. | Learning Management System Specialist , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2017

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The willingness to provide clients with the feedback and functionality that they need to perform their jobs at maximum potential. The network of clients that become family and at your disposal when something isn't working there is always someone there to help out.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The length of time that it takes, sometimes, to receive and answer to a question on Global Product Support (GPS) case. While they are very knowledgeable and once the case has started it moves quickly but it sometimes it sits for weeks before an agent picks it up and starts working on it.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning records being on paper were very hard to produce when being audited therefore electronic tracking has helped tremendously.

 ### 16. Cornerstone has provided us with a fresh, new way to deliver content to our end users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya F. | VP,Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

We have created playlists from the curated content that is specific to the needs of our users. We have also been able to use our own videos to upload as content which is great!

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

We do not use the system as a typical customer would so being able to customize the learning experience more would be very valuable to us. Currently there are things our users see that are not relevant to their experience because we can not customize it any further.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing our users a learning experience that is fresh, modern and engaging. We are new and have not implemented it 100% but we hope that engagement with our technology increases.

 ### 17. Love the functionality, hate the admin experience some days when support is difficult to find.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly M. | Learning Management Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The user groups are incredibly helpful, I wish Texas was more active. The reporting 2.0 update has been great, I love the new more intuititive style of reporting.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Finding support is isolating and difficult. If you are new, online modules only help so much. Connecting with those that are more experienced would be beneficial.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the required courses and tracking for our safety team, but it's more than that. We use a lot of the features with performance and compensation so it's a valuable tool for us.

 ### 18. CSOD Learning - product review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The entire documentation (OnlineHelp, release notes) , community and forum is well structured and easy to find an information or use case.
Also, the Product academy is offering us support to get the recognized CSOD certifications.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

some of the improvements we suggest are not prioritized;
Some actions we raise to GPS are marked as billable working orders even if sometimes it is related to a tool issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

The LMS tool is offering a variety of functions at the customization level is very high. But you need good understanding of the system to conduct a tool deployment as the system is very complex.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CSOD is offering us the solution for an LMS tool that is deployed almost worldwide within our organization and due to the customization level we have reached we can offer it to the branches with different license types: for Regulatory basis only, for Digital activity or full package containing also ITs.

 ### 19. Leading Learning management system with a traditional core and high potential for the future

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick H. | Senior Expert HR Digital, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Massive configuration options to support nearly all business requirements in terms of learning.
With learners home a modern frontend for employees and managers.
Curriculas and playlists as a fantastic option to put relevant content in a nice package.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Admin-Interface & test engine partially very old fashioned. In the learning assignment tool, a bit more flexibility would help to automise regular repeating actions (e.g. monthly learning assignments for new employees).

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Cornerstone Learning we were able to provide a solid learning environment to our managers and employees in times of covid, were we had the need to react fast and flexible on several learning and upskilling demands from the organization.

 ### 20. Excellent and versatile product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam H. | Lead Learning Management Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The learning tool is extremely versatile and customizable to fit our needs. With a variety of different training types available, you can easily fit your needs.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Building curricula can be a bit "steppy," but overall do not have major complaints. Some of the interfaces for building learning are a bit out of date looking, but I know that many are in the process of being re-tooled or revamped.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

The administrative side of things can be tricky, but mainly just because so much is possible in the system.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a bit of an odd business setup, and the learning product has enabled us to have different learning and governance processes for each separate division that we have in the system. We have 21 different independent business units set up as Divisions, and this set up allows us to "silo" them off from one another very well.

 ### 21. Csod one of the best HRIS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Shipbuilding | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The learning management system of Cornerstone on demand is very fancy and user friendly. The learner Home is the right place for our employees

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Sometimes it Can be difficult to track some e learning completion
Sometimes some elearning version shift are not taken in account in Development plan or Curriculum

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Use fisrt the LMS then the clasroom feature

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WE succeed to train and onboard Many employees throughout the World. That's the best success. The LMS module has been helpful during the covid phase and for employees onboarding phase

 ### 22. One stop shop for Learning and Development!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorie H. | Sr Learning Management Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

That learning and development can be linked so easily and fit in our non-traditional review process. Even though we do things so differently, Cornerstone always finds a way to make it work for us.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

As the only admin for our company, sometimes the amount of resources Cornerstone provides can be overwhelming. I feel like I never have enough time to truly learn everything I need to realize the system's full potential.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regulatory compliance was our initial reason for purchasing the Cornerstone platform, and it has made an enormous difference with staying compliant and proving it to auditors. Ease of access to content and the user-friendly way the system is designed have made the transition easy for our team members.

 ### 23. A traditional LMS with a lot of options

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli J. | Senior HRIS Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone Learning provides decent customization options and offers a fair amount of flexibility and customization for administrators.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

With many different options also comes many different in depth areas to administrate. The UI felt old and very basic.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cornerstone Learning was helping us with our corporate learning and helping us maintain some of the certifications that our company values most from a compliance standpoint. It also briefly served as a way for us to track goals and some managers used it for checking in with their employees.

 ### 24. Review for CSOD from a MedTech POV

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrzej P. | Systems Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The variabilities of solutions - you can create learning paths. You can make the self-paced pieces of training as well as the led instructor training (that includes integrations with Zoom, MS Teams etc).
Above all, the traceability is very good and thanks to this, the system is compliant, especially in highly regulated environments.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

That we lack modern social learning options and that in many areas the system looks very old-fashioned. We'd need an easy-to-setup module that will gather people, where it is easy to encourage people to share. Also, managing the on-the-job training should be more developed and include easy submissions from the user's side to the system.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides solutions to assure the training is available for all the employees - either through integrations (like LinkedIn Learning) or their own content.
It gives us a very good view of the history of training and a very good reporting tool - this is crucial for the MedTech company.

 ### 25. This is really an easy system to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha M. | Learning Management System Administrator II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I genuinely like the guides and knowledge base provided. This allows the administrator to self-troubleshoot and provides more autonomy. The CSOD team is always available to help.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I would like to meet more folks in my city! San Antonio, maybe bring a user group to San Antonio, Texas

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it more possible to connect with other CSOD Administrators by using the champion HQ portal. I would like to have more involvement in helping others.

 ### 26. Outdated and difficult to use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave H. | Learning Support Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Overall, Cornerstone does what you need it to do. To be honest, I'm struggling to find something I like the best as it's all (IMHO), pretty poor. Although that said, I've only ever used open-sourced LMS is the past, so CSOD might be the best of a bad bunch, who knows?
– – –
Edit to my original review: DO NOT USE CORNERSTONE. Their customer support is, hands down, the WORST customer service I have ever had in my life. I WOULD NOT recommend Cornerstone to anyone
– – –
[Nov 12, 2019] Further edit to my original review: Over 2 years on and CSOD support is getting better. We have had multiple conversations regarding their support offering and I feel they have been open and honest and have acknowledged that it needs to be improved. There's still a long delay (IMO) of the resolution of tickets. We've had multiple dedicated GPS specialists which hadn't helped as when a new one arrives, they have to learn our setup from scratch. Updated rating from 0/10 to 4/10.
– – –
[May 10, 2022] We've been with CSOD for almost 6 years now and I must say, the platform has improved but not at the pace of other, newer providers out there. We, as with most other companies, are looking for ways to get the right learning, to the right people, at the right time and it's proving to be difficult with CSOD. There's been little improvement to the Learning module. They have brought out some new features around Skills but there have been little development around the existing features and UI. A lot of the UI still is very old and outdated. All of my suggestions around dates and email management haven't been addressed (likely will never be) as it's not revenue-generating. There are plenty of updates to the add-on products but very little around the core modules. We're seeing tiny updates to make the admin experience easier but it's nowhere near enough. Suggestion City still feels like it's never reviewed. Updated rating from 4/10 to 6/10.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

It's a very difficult user interface to manage (from an Admin perspective). Most things (including simple tasks) require many steps and screens with confusing fields with very little information about what's required. You're constantly pointed to the online help which appears to be written by a developer (difficult for a "normal" user to understand).

I'm pretty clued up on tech and there's a LOT of things that can't be done yourself - you need to log a ticket with their Global Product Support (GPS) team. This is where CSOD are truly awful. Tickets take days even to be acknowledged and the replies you get are one-liners that just creates more questions. There's no rush in resolving ANY tickets - even when logged as P1s. For example, I've had a ticket outstanding for 4 months and I'm nowhere near a resolution. I could go on but I think you get the gist...

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Update the VERY outdated UI.
Actually listen to users on Suggestion CIty - In over a year of using the product, I haven't seen one (useful) suggestion realised.
Let admin users do more themselves - don't require a GPS ticket for everything slightly technical.
IMPROVE YOUR SUPPORT. Your customer service is terrible.
-----
Update: There needs to be a facility to cascade email changes from Events to Sessions. We often 20+ sessions in an event and if we need to make a change to an email, each individual session must be changed, one by one. This is very time consuming and often leads to mistakes.
You need to give users the option of changing the date format. Just take a look at Suggestion City at the HUNDREDS of suggestions for allowing a different date format. MM/DD/YYYY just doesn't work outside the US.
PLEASE review Suggestion City. Close out some of the outstanding suggestions if you're just not going to implement them. It's SO frustrating to be told to log a suggestion, already finding one, and it being years old.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use the product for issuing and administering business compliance training.
We do a lot of ILT which the system is OK for. Email management for ILT is very difficult to update/change. There's no option to cascade changes to existing sessions.
We also have an integration with Lynda.com which CSOD does not do well. The system imports the individual learning objects but doesn't bring across any metadata (ratings, categories, related modules, etc.)

**Official Response from Hayley Handler:**

> Hi Dave,
Thanks for taking a couple minutes to provide us feedback. We are kicking off a project to look at the key workflows for admins and would love your input on what is most important to you. To help inform our project, feel free to email wecare@csod.com.

In terms of the resources available to you, that would be very frustrating. We'll make sure to do a review of the documentation surrounding your issue for language and clarity. However, we're open to the suggestion of specific pages to fix which you can provide at the above email as well. Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you.

 ### 27. Cornerstone Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone has a great deal of potential. There is much that can be done to customize learning for both individuals and various departments.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Something that I dislike about Cornerstone is that one task can be accomplished various ways and in learning the system, this was often something that caused confusion instead of having a direct and singular path.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cornerstone Learning benefits the organization by allowing us to provide various pieces of training at different levels. It also allows us to track all of this training in one place.

 ### 28. New to Cornerstone and am loving it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick G. | Retired, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The interface is easy to teach to my learners, allowing quicker adaptation to the technology. Even our technically challenged team members have jumped onboard and are engaged.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Nothing at all! We have had a few minor issues with our HRIS interface and importing our data, but those issues are with the HRIS. Everything with Cornerstone has been fantastic!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cornerstone Learning is helping us to build consistency across our geographical locations. This allows our customer experiences to be the same, allowing us to build that common culture.

 ### 29. Very Complex Training Platform That Fits Many Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone is extremely flexible. We have many departments using it for many different functions. These include complex training programs that were made in house and require a lot of features, as well as external content being brought in as a SCORM file.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The complexity also makes for a large learning curve. It took me months to learn how to use the system to upload videos, then upload questions, then turn the questions into a quiz, then turn the videos and quiz into a course, then assign the course. However, the partner that I was using for external content just started supporting SCORM exports, so it used to take me 4 hours to create a course and now it only takes 10 minutes! If you do not use simple SCORM files, you need to assume that there will be some training and work involved in using the platform.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to deliver training programs to users, and report on their completion in a format that my auditors accept.

The only thing i feel missing in the tool is the multiple selection made in various part of removals in the transcript of the users as per the admin view for yuser tok they can raise request for assignment or removal

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At my workplace our day to day learning and development, performance management, succession management and many others tasks for admin support are carried out which his made easy by the use of CSid

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I love the versatility of the Learning platform. Generally speaking, I am happy with the end user experience as well.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I wish Cornerstone could address more Suggestion City items in their updates. Additionally, some features, like groups, are antiquated and clunky.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

I can honestly say that Cornerstone has been a GREAT partner and they genuinely are invested in our success. My advice, specifically those who have a medical center, use custom fields to your advantage!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving training needs across our institution as well as the ability to provide accurate training data on high level titles, like Title IX.

 ### 34. Good LMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett G. | T&D Technology Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

CSOD is a good LMS that can integrate with other programs. This integration benefits a company by providing "Add-ons" that will enable tracking of employees' engagement and learning no matter the program you deliver training.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone has numerous teams working on multiple platforms within the LMS. This multi-team approach lends itself to inconsistencies throughout the program. This means that an action (e.g., hitting the back arrow) will work for one area of the LMS, but if you try it in a different location, you will not get the same results. It gets frustrating as an administrator.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Do your research! Before you go into talks, know what you need from your LMS. It could be something as simple as knowing that your company has annual compliance training, so you will need the ability to set up recurring assignments. Reporting is another huge deal because you can create charts and dashboards for your leadership team. Again, just keep in mind what you need to do before opening talks with cornerstone or any other LMS.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of tracking employee training throughout the United States. Our company has offices and job sites throughout the US and this (and other programs) allow us to train and track employees everywhere.

 ### 35. Cornerstone Learning is great for our Learning Needs and has so many great training materials.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tammy L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone Learning allows us to create custom learning content as well as purchase online content from vendors. There is a variety of different subject materials available to choose from. We can assign training in bulk for Compliance Training. We can customize a variety of things to work for us. I also LOVE that they have a Client Success Center where you can get ideas and discuss topics with other clients. They have so much training available to help system administrators as well.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I have not really found anything that I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

If you are looking for a solution with a lot of training materials and interaction with other clients, I would highly suggest considering Cornerstone. The amount of places to go for help is unbelievable. When I came into the role as a system administrator, there was noone here to train me. I was able to learn everything I needed by the different areas Cornerstone Provides. They have online help, client success center, and a client support center.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently have paper-based forms for our internal certificates. I am almost done with converting this process into an electronic process using the certification module within the Cornerstone Learning App. We are also keeping track of compliance training using Cornerstone Learning.

 ### 36. Good LMS getting better, but still with some significant flaws

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura G. | Sr. Learning & Development Consultant, E-Learning Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**Describe the project or task Cornerstone Learning helped with:**

We implemented Cornerstone as our enterprise-wide LMS a couple of years ago. We use it to replace a slew of different LMSs and CMSs we had been using to host our e-learning content across the organization, to provide one platform for accessing all non-video e-learning content, as well as some of our video-based e-learning content. We use it for a range of content from the mandatory compliance e-courses, to department/role-specific content, professional and personal development content, etc. I also like that Cornerstone does continue to work to improve their product.

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that Cornerstone is fairly full-featured and supports all of the standards from AICC all the way up to xAPI. The playlist feature is very helpful, as are the features for sending automated emails, reports, etc.. I also like that managers can assign learning to their reports and that learners receive customized suggestions for additional learning they might be interested in, based on assets they've used on the platform already. Publishing a new e-course isn't too difficult (unless you get into using a lot of the customizable features, like complicated assignments, etc.) and the search features and filters generally work well, too.

Disclaimer: Any opinions expressed here are soley my own and are not made on behalf of my company.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Updating an exsiting course is one of my least favorite things about Cornerstone, since you almost always need to "reversion" the course and, when you do, it changes the course's LOID (learning object ID), which, in turn, changes the deep link to the course, meaning that you then have to go and update any learning portals, curated sites, etc., on which you've previously included a link to that asset. This is a MAJOR (and, I think, wholly unnecessary) pain in the neck! The LMS we used previously did NOT do that and even let the person publishing the course create a custom URL (in which you could include the course name or whatever, to make the URL more intuitive).

In addition, I find that the reporting utilities are VERY confusing and difficult to use, even when you want to create a pretty basic, common type of report. It's hard to figure out what the various options mean and to get a report set up to do what you want it to do (and the "standard" reports that come already set up aren't intuitive, either). This was something that was better (albeit maybe a little more limited?) with our previous LMS, Skillport.

I think that, overall, Cornerstone provides a better user experience for learners than it does for admins and those of us who publish courses or do other "back-end" stuff. I also don't like that we can't just pick up the phone and get tech support (the way our previous LMS vendor, SkillSoft had) -- only one (maybe two) people in our entire company are allowed to talk to the vendor (whereas, with SkillSoft, anyone could call, with separate options for learners and for admins/course publishers). Cornerstone does offer community "office hours" each week (or every other week), which anyone can attend to get some help, but that's not really helpful if you have an issue you need help with NOW and/or the issue is more involved than the other office hour attendees might want to sit through.

Disclaimer: Any opinions expressed here are soley my own and are not made on behalf of my company.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

This likely has changed as a result of the pandemic, but, at the time that we were working with Cornerstone to provide pre-implementation training for those of us would become CSOD admins/publishers, they were not really set up to provide the training virtually. We were not all able to fly to Canada to attend the in-person training and they were reluctant to offer a remote attendance option and, when they did, they really didn't know how to manage that very well alongside the lengthy classroom training. I'm thinking that they likely have been forced to join the 21st century in this regard since the advent of the pandemic, but I thought I'd mention it, just in case. (Training is very much needed, as the system is quite complex and not as intuitive as you might think.) I was also disappointed that they couldn't load courses into CSOD from our previous LMS -- we had to republish everything manually. (This may be par for the course with any LMS implementation, but I don't remember that being the case when we went from the first enterprise LMS we had to SkillPort, although it may have been.) Also, I would suggest carefully reviewing any "off-the-shelf" content that they're offering....some of the stuff we initially had loaded into our system was pretty good, but some of it definitely was not.

Disclaimer: Any opinions expressed here are soley my own and are not made on behalf of my company.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned previously, we were able to replace a slew of different LMSs and CMSs we had been using to host our e-learning content across the organization, to provide one main platform for accessing all non-video e-learning content, as well as some of our video-based e-learning content. This has, I believe, resulted in some cost savings, and certainly has made it easier from a support perspective, as well as giving learners one place to go for most of their online learning needs.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Reporting is a little clunky and would be nice to see averages.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Great platform

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding and training at a higher capacity, with as many people we are adding it does the job

 ### 38. Cornerstone - Invest to get the best

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather H. | Instructional Designer & LMS Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that the end-user experience. It is decently simple. It is also a very simple experience uploading SCORM compliant eLearning. The tracking is fairly simple, and it wouldn't take a LOT of skill to begin using Cornerstone. The transcript with the most recent upgrades is a lot more intuitive. It's nice that it is interconnected. I appreciate that there is a lot that the product can do, even if my particular company does not have the budget to purchase the items that enhance and integrate them into the company culture. If you include add-ins/integrations, there is not much that Cornerstone can't work personnel-wise. I will also note that they are currently making many upgrades and that some of my primary issues are slowly but surely being taken care of, but very slowly.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

As an admin, there are a lot of little items that come to mind with this question.
1. There isn't a way to run a conference with multiple concurrent sessions that the user can only choose one of for a time slot. It's strange that
2. There are a few different admin functions that are a bit cumbersome and could easily be enhanced.
3. I would like more interaction from user to user within Learning. Interaction can be added with a different module.
4. I was told by a rep that the certifications are a mess and that I shouldn't use them. We use curriculum instead, which are equally frustrating to reversion.
5. The breadcrumbs don't work perfectly.
6. It indicates you can have two windows open, but it does rather strange things if you do. Ex: I had someone working in two different courses at once, and when the saved it wrote the name over one of them so both courses were called the same name. This took so long to figure out who had attended what, mainly because it went at least one session before they noticed that now two courses were named the same thing.
7. No built-in Accommodation Request Features. It's inaccessible, and that's a problem.
7b. Custom Forms can't fully fix accessibility issues because the custom form emails lack a HUGE amount of necessary information, like the requestor name, class, date and time, etc. The workarounds within Cornerstone are VERY time-consuming.
8. Email Triggers only work in specific emails, so you can't create logical flows that make sense in Cornerstone.
9. HTML doesn't function well in the system without an additional fix that is mostly paperwork. HTML code appears in descriptions regularly.
10. For live learning platforms like Teams, Zoom, Adobe connect, etc, there is an add-on to add functionality into the system. Each one costs money. There is no way for you to just go into Cornerstone and just indicate the link for users no matter the platform. It should be a field.
11. As a site admin for many different sites throughout my career, I don't love that as a company admin, I don't have full rights to the site. I can see or work with the code, I can't even run a report for all people in my agency who have additional security rights. That's such a simple function that you have to go through cornerstone tech for.
12. Could be more actively engaged in Accessibility Measures such as settings that allow the user to adjust colors or settings for the end user etc. Video Captioning would also be very helpful for the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

If you have money for add ons and developers and other partners, it's a decent product. If you are on a budget or want a live training platform, I would look elsewhere. If your focus is accessibility, I would also not recommend it.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been a process and we are still in the midst of maximizing its potential. Still, Cornerstone Learning is helping us as an organization determine what competencies we value, providing elective learning and clear learning paths. It has also done well at managing compliance. Until recently editing and updating providers has been quite a process, it is still cumbersome but no longer requires a tech ticket.

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I love the user experience. It is clear and easy to navigate.

The gamification component is a real game-changer for our organization! I love how robust the system is.

There is a test feature built-in. You can also create course evaluations Level 1 - 4. Assigned learning appears front and center for learners to see. This is a helpful feature to direct learners to where they need to focus their attention.

There are also tons of email notifications that can be turned on and customized to suit your needs.

Overall, we have been quite pleased with the product. We are about to implement Performance which we are very excited about! I am really looking forward to aligning our learning and performance systems which were not able to do with our previous vendor.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The implementation experience can make or break you. Make sure you sign on with a great implementation team.

If you are a small company. It might be to your benefit to create a role specifically dedicated to this system. As it is very robust you will need someone to take time to learn and be comfortable with the system.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining our onboarding and new hire experience. We are now able to offer learning that provides insights into the organization.

 ### 40. Extremely Customizable, Almost to a Fault

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica B. | Senior Instructional Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I love all the options! You can really customize things to your liking. Once you are familiar with the navigation, it's a very user-friendly system. One feature we really love that competitors didn't have was the On the Job Training functionality. We need to be able to track these quick on-job training tasks, and this is perfect.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

There are SO many options and check-boxes, that it is easy to miss something. For example, the email options require you to write an email for each and every learning object and for each and every reminder. You cannot simply copy and paste and change the reminder dates. It's tedious.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Use the Success Center as much as possible! There are lots of resources to learn the system, but you have to be self motivated to do it!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training, compliance records, etc. Tracking and reporting is very beneficial. We've also started using it to capture our face to face/ on the job training, which has been a big win for us!

 ### 41. Technology that stays one step ahead of what I need!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone Learning is always innovating - I know that I can provide the most modern and on-point user experience that learners expect.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Change is often and it can be hard to stay on top of the updates - especially if you have a small team or are a single-person department wearing many hats.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

I am a big fan of CSOD. I love the client community - you can find answers to questions so quickly. The company is continually improving, and they genuinely listen to what clients want and need to be effective; many of the updates are driven by client requests.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating playlists has made it super easy for learners to find what they need quickly. We were able to support employees at the beginning of the pandemic quickly and throughout by having content available and using communities for social gathering, and sharing.

Not only is the product amazing, but the support we receive from our Cornerstone Client Success Managers and the team is outstanding! The LMS has taken our employee professional development to the next level.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I can't think of a thing we dislike about the LMS in our organization. The product is constantly being upgraded and developed to better reach our needs. It just keeps getting better. I do wish we were able to utilize more of the product solutions in combination with the LMS.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to take our professional development and employee learning to new heights with this LMS. We thoroughly enjoy the ability to integrate with our LinkedIn Learning account to provide employees with even more opportunities to learn and grow. Plus the reporting and data functionality gives us the information we need to make better decisions faster as an organization.

 ### 44. An excellent Learning Management System for large corporates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James H. | Learning Technology and Delivery Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone's LMS comes with all the of the features you would expect, with an easy to use interface for learners. Multiple administrators can work on the same courses, delivering maximum value to our employees.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Some parts of the system are showing their age, but are due to be replaced in the next 12 months. They still work, but could look better, and need some additional features.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Cornerstone is a big piece of software, you will need people in your organisation who are responsible for looking after it.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The LMS lets us deliver both mandatory and voluntary learning across the global, with hundreds of administrators all able to work independently to deliver world class learning to our employees.

 ### 45. CSOD Learning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

CSOD has a lot of flexibility for setting security to allow us to use the features we want to, while not using the features we're not ready for or cannot use.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

My dislike is the same as my like; the flexibility and granularity is great, but can be cumbersome when setting things up in that there are a lot of ways to go wrong. More in-depth training on the Client Success center would be great. Online help is a powerful resource, but can be challenging to navigate simply because there is so mush there.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A more powerful dashboard feature woud be excellent. Something on par with the ServiceNow dashboards would be great. Right now, in most cases we end up pulling the data from CSOD and then processing in excel for dashboards and updates. Being able to process and publish within CSOD with an easy viewer interface for drilling down into the data would be a huge help for us.

 ### 46. Technically capable tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gayathri A. | Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Over the past 10 years, I have seen cornerstone develop as an LMS with a significant increase in both form and functionality. The improvements have seen the product open up capability that suits a much wider suite of the global market peculiarities as well as their home base for which it was originally developed.
The tool provides a robust structure to load and deliver training to the right groups of users at the right time with relative ease and efficiency. Identification of users and management of transcripts provides a solid base for reporting and skills management making this tool highly effective. The ability to do observed training as well as testing the capabilities of the users means that the tool does provide a full suite of training types for the users and managers

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The things missing are silly things like emails confirming the outcome of a test. This is a small hiccup in the tool which on its own poses a limited issue, however, depending on the business use of the tool there can be many little things that make this seem like an uphill battle.
The main issue I do have is that while the tool is flexible (and it truly is) what fails to be explained to clients is the impact of this flexibility. Every change poses a sacrifice in behaviour further along and the impacts of how data is loaded at the start is not clearly identified to the clients until it is too late. I would like to clarify that my distaste here is NOT for the tool but the way in which the implementation teams understand the tools and the business when it is being put together.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The use of the tool was to consolidate and facilitate online learning in local and global businesses. This has been easily done with the tool using the self-service aspect and allowing users to be responsible for their own development as part of their growth within the business

 ### 47. Best in Industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

It is highly customizable and user-friendly as both an end-user and an admin. It makes training all the other learning admins an easy process as the system is intuitive when creating different learning objects. It also makes it easy to set up complex dynamic learning assignments that save us a lot of time/energy from having to do it manually.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I wish that we could upload larger video files or easily imbed links other than just YouTube (Stream for example). In the meantime, we have been doing a workaround of linking to external videos through a Material and putting the Material Type of "Video."

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

You should definitely go for it - it's a great platform!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving our skill gaps with our IT organization. We did a skills assessment and based on where each employee has gaps, they are getting assigned curriculums tied to those skills. We also have made playlists that cover essential power skills in our organization that we continuously update. The playlists have helped change our learning culture into more self-serve rather than classroom/served-up training like we did in the past. Employees have more ownership over their development now.

 ### 48. Cornerstone Admin for Multiple Companies

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone is truly one of the only LMS platforms that delivers all the different types of functionality needed in an agile and robust environment and can be specifically tailored to the needs of each unique business.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

While offering diverse functionality, the support is minimal and things often break where you have to go and search for an answer. They also have a "Suggestion City" but the suggestions are years old and still sitting there, yet to be implemented.

**Recommendations to others considering Cornerstone Learning:**

Make sure you initially setup the system with thorough thought of future needs as it can be hard to back pedal.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers the opportunity to be able to utilize different functions for different requirements that each team may have, while also adding the ability to link other learning functionalities within, such as LinkedIn Learning.
