We have multiple applications that we run through parallels, It helps being able to attach these applications and then assigned a group to these applications and place users into these groups in order to use these applications. Its very nice not having to give everyone access to all apps and keeps it nice and collected in one section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We resorted to using Parallels for .NET Development on the MacBook Pro's that we had in laying around in our vault. They had somewhat smaller hard drives so the idea of Bootcamp scared most of the guys and we opted for using Parallels. I would not encourage the usage of Parallels as permissions when working with IIS and .NET 4.5 development can get tricky and without experienced .NET developers around who have strong understandings of the Windows systems themselves this can get pretty messy over time especially if you accidentally tweak or work on project files with the wrong apps. Easy to install, the fact that I can open Windows apps in MacOS without switching to Windows was pretty cool and awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
