It has saved time on processing, especially for the PEP, Handover and Closeout. Email notifications are also very useful! The three bars and the "Save" and "Submit" updates make me feel like I am using my old TRS80! Also, the Email Notifications are quite helpful --- except why don't they take me more directly into the exact Task/Item I am being notified on instead of a less specific list? Last, the Schedule Program could use some improvement; it is too rudimentary and not intuitive, especially for more experienced MSP andP6 Users. **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking my Deliverables and keeping a Consolidated approach not reliant on a File Tree Structure ### 2. The interface and the dashboards are easy to read and relatively easy to edit. It makes fun to use it. Please continue to add additional functionalities. **What do you dislike about Cora PPM?** To do the setup for Stage gate meetings is not that good due to many double questions. Furthermore, there should be fields to assign people to tasks. When putting in the Action and Lessons learned points, there are not the right groups to be chsen, f.e. issues in internal processes are missing. **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything is in one place, and it's relatively easy to use. Furthermore, you can create pretty fast exports as screenshots that can be placed into presentations. ### 3. The only other thing I like about it the large amount of data it can hold without issues. We have hundreds of projects on this site with no load issues. **What do you dislike about Cora PPM?** UI feels restrictive and clunky. I feel good excel sheets would be better. I thought Cora would be better for the loss of data, but we had an issue of losing half of the projects for a few days. I cannot see this replacing all documents, forecasts and scheduling. I do not think there is enough customization. **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** A better communication line between myself, the project managers, and my direct managers. I can input risks, issues and threats and project managers must respond to that. But if a business was only half bought in it would be usual. ### 4. It does a good job and lets us keep track of the projects and drawings. It solves the problem of keeping track of dates of delivery ### 5. Inability to save user filters in drop-down menu or save different views in Gantt layout, with different columns shown depending on what you are looking at. **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visibility across all projects, You can easily look at performance at a programme level or portfolio level and drive down into individual schedules. It provides consistency with reporting and avoids 'free styling' with information able to be viewed and displayed in shared portfolio or project dashboards. ### 11. The best thing about this is the quantified risk result. **What do you dislike about Cora PPM?** The operational risk register questionnaire has not been designed efficiently with a number of questions that could all be qualified out at the start. The GCAT rating tool has some elements that the operational risk register could utilise **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping to standardise the risk review process and have a quantified risk output. It is helping to communicate the risk to our delivery teams to ensure we're covered appropriately. ### 13. It's useful to be able to transfer items from one register to another, or even from project to project. The support is generally very good **What do you dislike about Cora PPM?** Something that irritates more than actually causing dislike is where there are excel like formulae used to generate rules but when I want to do something 'clever' Cora isn't able to interpret the function (maybe that's because I come from a programming background) **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cora allows us to have multiple project types in one tool and summarise all Risks and Issues (for example) across the organisation so our PMO should only need to look in one place to gather data for management reporting ### 14. Can't change the column width on some columns. Can't colour-code a line for tasks progress. CORA has a lot of features available. It is very customisable. **What do you dislike about Cora PPM?** The platform is unstable, often running very slowly and does not consistently update - resulting in lost work. It is VERY non-intuitive to use - with features and functionalities looked away in obscure menus and hard-to-find parts of the platform. Specific functionalities need to be activated by an administrator to allow relatively simple features. It is intolerant of the user. For example, when entering multiple tasks, they all have to be completed in the same way with the same data types - you can't leave some data fields open to automatically calculate or manually adjust later. CORA does not support Agile PM, Scrum or Kanban methodologies. **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** CORA offers a business-wide, enterprise view of projects and programs. ### 16. The best thing about CORA is I can quickly check the status of my projects and make suitable decisions from this. **What do you dislike about Cora PPM?** CORA as a whole is working well. It would be great if there was the ability to recieve more finer detail on the costs that have been applied to projects. At the moment it shows an over cost of labour, material etc - would be great if it would interface to other systems and allow us to see a break down of these. **What problems is Cora PPM solving and how is that benefiting you?** CORA is allowing us to have location for all project management related items. This is highly beneficial as we do not need to access multiple systems to provide ourselves insights to our projects. ### 17. You know I am there to create a new timesheet more often than not. Each time I have to select add task. Why? Just make the task selection available. I then have to drill down the org/project hierarchy. Since implementing Cora PPM we have been able to get "the full picture" of all our activity. I no longer have to switch between systems or look for data in spreadsheets.
