"Condens has been a life saver!"
5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

There are several aspects of Condens that I like. One is the repository aspect. There are so many places where conversations and research has been documented, it's so helpful to have everything in one place that stakeholders can search through and find past research. I like the ability to transcribe video and audio! But the thing I like the most is the ability to quickly highlight and tag data, and then drag and drop common data points into themes, all the while creating your final report on the fly as you go! It's such a time saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

I mentioned liking the transcription feature. While I do like it and can make out what it's trying to transcribe, the accuracy I don't think is quite there yet. I also don't like not having the ability to detach video clips from the highlight I'm dragging into the Conclusion. I'd like the option to not include a video clip with every single data highlight I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Being a solo researcher in a small organization, I have been able to optimize my research projects."
4/5
What do you like best about Condens?

The best improvement for me has been to be able to transcribe all sessions I conduct and do the analysis and reports in the same tool. Also easily add video and audio clips to my reports/ presentations and make them more compelling. Thanks to the transcription service included in the plan makes it possible that I can code, analyse and create a good report much faster than before. The result is that I can complete projects in less time and I can also take in more work volume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

When using the basic plan stakeholders can only see the reports but they can't log in and have access to the information stores in the repository or search data by themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"24/7 support, very dedicated team!"
5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

Used Condens for a research project analyzing +100 pages of interview data. The software is very simple and straightforward to use (especially when comparing it to other players like MAXQDA). Exporting the data to Excel is very easy, too. When I had trouble with loggin into my account the team helped me right away (even though it was midnight). Awesome product, awesome team! Highly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

I do not dislike anything about the software. Maybe the zoom-in / zoom-out could be improved a little bit, making it more responsive to the browser (I am using chrome). But other than that all good! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Condens has transformed the way our company does UX"
5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

Being able to store all of our research in a single repository has transformed how we do UX. It allows us to quickly draw insights over time and across research efforts to influence our product strategy. The tool is simple and easy to learn. We now have multiple teams using the tool, and we've largely benefitted from the widespread use in our company. It's a powerful way to share insights with stakeholders and allow team members to have access to all of the work our team does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

Condens still requires your team has dedicated researchers that are willing to invest time in setting up content in Condens and tagging research accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for extracting interview insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

Condens has everything that I needed from the start of the research up to generating conclusions. Audios can be imported and transcribed and it facilitates grouping insights into different clusters and then summarizing them. I tried several other tools and I was annoyed by how little intuitive and user-friendly they were compared to Condens.

It has been really easy for me to get a hang of it. I love that I can change the formatting of the conclusions and add different headings, lists, and quotes. It's also really easy to organize insights by creating tags and clustering them into different groups. Afterward, the tagged content can be simply dragged and dropped into different conclusions

As a student, I was able to reach out and get a student discount that supported me to complete my thesis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

Not a huge point but I would love to be able to export the conclusions into word documents so that I can easily integrate the insights with the rest of the research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and intuitive!"
5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

The application is very fast when moving between sessions, tags, and conclusions. The user experience is enjoyable and breezy. Other similar products I've used are slower and more cumbersome.

The conclusion sidebar is also brilliant. During the analysis phase, I can now quickly drop tags into a research report. My process has now become free-flowing and intuitive. Beforehand I was constrained to strictly work through the different stages one at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

Please allow Tag Groups to be listed horizontally... otherwise it's a dream to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The tools that we UX needed"
5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

I believe that coding tools and automatic transcription facilitate collaborative work in research process analysis, in addition to saving time. I am a UX Researcher and UX teacher at various universities in Chile and I have recommended it because I consider it the most complete tool today for conducting user research with methodological rigor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

Sometimes when we are taking notes, there are server issues that cause the platform to stop, and that is delicate when you are in the middle of an interview taking notes. I hope they can solve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easier analysis with Condens"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Condens?

Condens offers two great features for my team: efficient transcription and superior analysis. Having using NVivo (as well as Microsoft Word) for coding in the past, Condens is such an improvement! Everything feels very streamlined, and the platform is pretty intuitive. Tagging and organizing tags are simple, and I really like the ability to easily compare findings across respondents. Also having a built-in Conclusions "notepad" essentially for jotting down findings, notes, questions, etc. is very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

There are two features I would like to see. One (which I've shared with Condens) is the ability to "dock" my list of tags. It is sometimes easy to overlook certain codes (in my case, if used relatively infrequently), so it would be ideal to have them as a fixture on my screen--akin to the Conclusion feature. Two, as far as I can tell, there are really only two levels of tags--the group, and the individual tag. Creating codes that are more granular (tags within specific tags) does not seem to be possible, but I'd love to be wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Condens?

I like the ability to create group tags that can be used for multiple sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Condens?

While the transcription is good, it is not great. I often have to listen and relisten and edit when I want to use a direct quote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
