# What's the best client onboarding software for CRM and helpdesk integrations in customer success workflows?

Researching the integration angle, the recurring need is that onboarding can't live on an island, it has to sync with the CRM and support tools the CS team already runs. These fit across the client onboarding space:

Rocketlane has a strong integration ecosystem that reviewers say removes friction in the sales-to-CS handoff by connecting into the surrounding stack. Best for a broadly connected hub.

GUIDEcx integrates with CRMs like Salesforce, including raising risk cases proactively when a project drifts. Best for CRM-tied onboarding with risk signals.

TaskRay is built natively on Salesforce, so onboarding data lives right inside the CRM. Best for Salesforce-first teams.

Planhat connects onboarding into a broader customer platform with wide integration support. Best for unifying onboarding with CS data.

Cloud Coach is another Salesforce-native option tying onboarding projects to CRM records. Best for CRM-embedded delivery.

Totango integrates onboarding into a wider CS platform with data connectors. Best for data-connected CS motions.

The honest caveat is that "integrates with X" ranges from a real two-way sync to a shallow connector, so confirm the depth with your specific CRM and helpdesk. Which system needs to be the source of truth, the CRM or the onboarding tool? That decides the integration you actually need.

I’d test the sales-to-CS handoff rather than the integration checklist. With Rocketlane or GUIDEcx, the real question is whether a closed deal can become an onboarding project with the right contacts, commitments, and dates already in place. If CS still has to rebuild that context manually, the CRM integration isn’t doing enough.
