I find the Eptura Engage app very user friendly. The desk booking feature is reliable and robust, which I like a lot. I also appreciate the QR code check-in for desks, as it proves that the desk was used and allows us to record and analyze data on office space usage. The room screens that offer instant booking are great too; they let colleagues jump into an empty room for quick calls, and we can still keep track of the usage data. The sync with Microsoft Outlook for bookings using the Add-In is problematic, especially for recurrent bookings. You can't add a room to an existing Outlook recurrent booking easily, and the process isn't intuitive compared to how Outlook typically works. We have to spend a lot of time on communication and follow-up to inform users how to use the system effectively. If a booking fails, like when an erroneous conflict email is sent, support can't engage with Outlook unless the user has saved the meeting invitation to refer back to.
