What do you like best about codebeamer?

Great Project Management and Requirements Management system in a very responsive user interface.

Its open architecture provides 3rd party integration to Software Configuration Management systems, to other Requirements Management systems, to Test Automation (Jenkins) and Management systems.

Simple Microsoft Excel roundtrip (import/export), super helpful in discussions with local teams and small customer/supplier collaboration.

Fulfills ASPICE, provides out-of-the-box templates (e.g., Automotive, Functional Safety), and most of the features are customizable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about codebeamer?

Filters and initial setup could feel overwhelming - luckily, the templates, help, and support make it easier.

It could be perceived as an overkill, from the perspective of a small team or a department just introduced to Application Lifecycle Management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering codebeamer:

Think of the time your team may be using different systems for activity tracking (DevOps, Jira, Excel, Kanban), different systems to show planning (Aha, Microsoft Project, manually edited Gantt charts), different tools to provide different information to a variety of audiences (PowerPoint, email, custom dashboard); then consider that Intland Codebeamer could blend that into a single system. Totally configurable, very friendly user interface, amazing knowledge base, very detailed documentation, totally scalable.Excellent tech support is also very helpful. Low cost ALM tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integration with some of industry standard model based design tools such as simulink exist but can use some further improvements. Integration with PLM tools (industry accepted tools such as Windchill, SAP) can use some improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the fact that you need to pay for everything, we want to use a support portal in cB, other tools are offering free licenses for customers and only agents needs to pay for using the portal. This would be then a proper ALM tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
