We no longer have to constantly monitor our techs, which has been a huge improvement for us. The ability to log in and see all the details is fantastic. We can adjust their policies, set restrictions, and manage their spending limits easily. By integrating and importing our vehicles with Samsara into Coast, we’re also able to track their locations and check their odometer readings. We have about 130 managers, owners, admin and techs using these cards every day. Also, having a mobile and a virtual card makes our lives SO much easier! Simple to access and set up. The biggest area for improvement is the integration and reporting. At times, it can be difficult to get all the fuel and vehicle data we need in one place, especially when trying to compare Coast fuel transactions with mileage and fuel data from our telematics system. I like how Coast is accepted almost everywhere, which makes it convenient for fuel purchases. One of the best features is its flexibility. You can keep processes completely manual or automate them as much as you'd like.

We also appreciate the built-in fuel controls, especially the feature that only allows fuel purchases when the assigned vehicle is at the pump. I like Coast's web portal because it's easy to use, and the customer service is great. The memo feature is the best part for us as it allows messengers to enter the order ID, helping us match expenses to orders and charge customers appropriately. I also appreciate the personalized card feature since courts in San Francisco require a card with the messenger's name for payment acceptance, which is essential for paying and filing court fees. The setup was pretty easy, and I enjoy the good controls Coast offers. It's the only product I've seen like this, and it just works. I recommend Coast to friends and colleagues all the time. I find the merchant categories a little difficult because merchants classify themselves improperly. Sometimes I see parking classified as government services, and that can be troublesome. There are also a lot of settings to control spending, which took a bit of time to straighten out. Misclassified merchant categories also caused some issues during setup. The most helpful thing about Coast is its theft detection. When it’s linked with Samsara, I can get flags to investigate situations like fuel purchases made when the vehicle’s GPS doesn’t show it at the gas station, or when the fuel tank level doesn’t rise after a fuel stop.
