"Better cost insights than AWS Cost Explorer"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

I was flabbergasted to see some data that even native AWS Cost Explorer does not give. I am talking about data transfer details. There was some cost, mind you a heavy cost associated with data transfer. Somehow I was not getting the details in AWS Cost Explorer. Cloudhost, on day-2 started giving us the preicse details what we always wanted to see. I mean I can now traceback to the exact resource which is causing the egress charges the amoutn of data and tariff associated with it. This helped me in optimising my stuff well which otherwise would not have been possible. I mean I am sure there's a way to find this out in AWS portal somewhere but then life is easy when you get it readymade yeah Thanks Cloudshot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cloudshot solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had veriety of tags in the system such as cost center cost center cost center cost centre and so on. They were spreaded across different clouds. Cloudshot's intelligent tag hygine engine helped us in getting our stuff organised. The tool not only helps in identifying the gaps such as missing tags missing values incorrect nearby values but it also helps to create update delete tags with just a few clicks. Our entire journey identifying the issue, internal discussions approval implementation checking was wrapped in a week. The difference between before and after using Cloudshot was phenominal. What do you dislike about Cloudshot?

Because Cloudshot FinOps is already well aligned with the FinOps Framework and FOCUS standards from the FinOps Foundation, there is very little to fault. What problems is Cloudshot solving and how is that benefiting you?

We intend to setup FinOps practice thought to brought in a couple of certified practioners. However, we explored Cloudshot beforethat and got pleasantly surprised. Cloudshot aligns well with FinOps framework. The implemention made easy with Cloudshot and that too without any certified practioners. Cloudshot team is well awre of FinOps foundation and they helped getting there. Many of the processes we wanted to implement as a FinOps practice are already well set in Cloudshot. "Works well with FinOps Foundation (FOCUS)"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

I have been using Cloudshot since a few months now. Recently the product team told us Cloudshot is now one of the offical FOCUS-compatible tool. This works great for single cloud as well as for multi-cloud. The cost dashboards are way faster than Azure native. In our case the numbers between Cloudshot portal and Azure portal were not matching initially. We reached out to support and they not only clarified but also shown us a bit weird behaviour by design by Microsoft Azure portal. For some reason it does not show costs of some tags for certain resources. Cloudshot shows them clearly. Great product happy to be one of the early adopters. "AWS Data transfer cost mystery resolved"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

Someone said in the past review that they get details on AWS data transfer cost. We had the same challange. And the way Cloudshot handles it is quite fabulous. I mean each of these guys like AWS Azure etc charge for data tranfer but getting the granular details is not always easy. They work in siloes and in the large enterprises such as ours it becomes quite chaotic. Thankfully we could solve this multi year problem with Cloudshot. "Cloudshot is the best cloud management plaform I ever came across"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

I never came across a platform like Cloushot that connects with multple cloud in a few minutes helps with DevOps automations secures the cloud by precisely pin-pointing the holes and gives the solution helps you reducing your cloud spend helps with improving the tags then I don't think one needs to look further. Your shopping list ends here. Its a great product. We use single cloud and yet it delivers the best value possible. "Terraforming with Cloudshot"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

It took less than an hour for us to setup Cloudshot in our environement having multi cloud. Once set we had a wow moment as Cloudshot shows the entire cloud landscape in the live diagram. We work extensively with Terraform. It was always a challange to maintain it e.g. someone makes the change directly in cloud console and it gets Terraform out of sync. But that was the case before Cloudshot. After adopting Cloudshot we can generate the Terraform script any time with one click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Self-funded implementation"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

We implemented Cloudshot as a self-funded project. They charged us a fraction of what is saved. You dont save you don't pay is what they told us and it worked well. We could save more than 16% of the cloud costs per year. The implementation took less than 30 minutes. In a few hours the data started gathering in Cloudshot and we learnt so many things in a a few days which my cloud portal never told me. This is a fantastic product and highly highly recommended. "The best ITFM tool"

What do you like best about Cloudshot?

We leverage Cloudshot for the tracking analysiing and optimising the IT costs. Cloudshot scores well in this segment and I highly recommend this platform. This is aligned with FinOps Foundation and thats a great advantage as leveraging Cloudshot automatically gets you nearer to the right framework. I recommend this tool wholeheartedly for FinOps. We had our tag hygine quite messed up. Somehow we had challanges in improving and maintaining the tags. Cloudshot helped us by not only finding out the precise issues but also intelligently coming-up with similar tags values. With Cloudshot DevOps we could regularise the tags with 2-3 clicks which otherwise would have taken days.
