"Cloud LIMS Has It All!"

5/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

As the Quality and Compliance Manager of a cannabis laboratory in California, I cannot recommend CloudLIMS highly enough for streamlining our operations and enhancing our overall efficiency. The software has significantly improved our management processes with versatile modules, great customer service, a user-friendly interface and unmatched customization options. Since we started using CloudLIMS, their customer support has been outstanding. They offer detailed demonstrations of features so we can customize them to our needs, they quickly address all questions, and have made our transition and implementation a smooth process. Their ongoing assistance is remarkable – always quick to respond and proactive in helping with any customization requests or issues that arise. What drove us to choose CloudLIMS over competitors was their wide array of available modules catering to every need we could have in our laboratory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

With CloudLIMS being a user-customized LIMS the setup can be a bit daunting. Our past systems were setup by the companies, but this process took months and thousands of dollars. Having the ability to setup CloudLIMS on our own was a more cost-saving way to go about the process, despite having to spend the time doing the data entry and module setup yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CloudLIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

CloudLIMS has helped improve our laboratory tremendously with the increased traceability and documentation it has provided. Allowing us to keep track of our consumable, solvent and standard inventory has helped us visually keep track of how much stock we have on hand of each, which has greatly helped in assisting us with our ordering process to ensure we never run out of something we need. In addition, documentation of instrument maintenance routines in the system has allowed us to stay on track with our maintenance schedule, improving the functionality of our instruments and in turn the overall throughput of the laboratory. "Setting up CloudLIMS"

4.5/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

We have signed up for the free version of CloudLIMS. It is a LIMS platform that has quite a lot of functionalities that are already built out. We liked that here is a low-cost starting option that can later be converted into a higher cost (one-time pay per year) with full functionality as our lab grows. We did like the transparent features, graphic design, and the connectivity of the various modules such as samples, tests, workflows, inventory, and so on. It is all there, what we needed to do is customize them for our laboratory's workflow, storage, test recipes. The setup is relatively easy, however, it takes time (just because we want to make sure we set all items properly for the lab.) The support team is available, less so for the free version, however, we get support as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

The main issue I encountered is related to limits. How many inventory items or process steps I could set up or what options I could choose. I wish there would be a larger limit and more access to customization, such as having access to enter weighing or drying or sonication as part of a test procedure at setup. Support response seems to be overnight, which further slows the setup process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for your detailed review! We're delighted to hear that you find the functionalities, transparent features, graphic design, and connectivity of CloudLIMS beneficial for your lab. It's great to know that our solution is meeting your needs and that the support team has been able to assist you. You would agree, all free products have some limitations, which are removed once a user upgrades to the full version. However, we appreciate your feedback on these limitations and the customization options. We are continually working on enhancing our LIMS and will take your suggestions into account. Regarding the support response time, we strive to provide timely assistance and will look into ways to improve this for our free version users.

"CloudLIMS - A solution to keep environmental lab management worries at bay"

5/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

There are quite a few things that come to my mind: First and foremost, CloudLIMS has a neat and intuitive UI which makes it easy to use. Secondly, it’s highly configurable. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention their remarkable support team; they have been consistently helpful whenever we've had questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

The two-factor authentication is enabled for logging into CloudLIMS. At times, the OTP takes longer than expected to reach us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CloudLIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

CloudLIMS is rich in functionality. We needed the product configured to match our work environment and the CloudLIMS team did it in two weeks. We needed our CoAs to be a single-page report to include our logo, address, US EPA lab number, report title, client information and sample details, analysis results, technician details, QC notes, the authorized signatory, and a footnote. We got exactly what we needed. CloudLIMS has significantly improved our operations and reduced our turnaround time (TAT). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you so much for your review! We're thrilled to hear that you find our UI intuitive and easy to use and that you appreciate the configurability of CloudLIMS. We understand the importance of a timely OTP, and our team is actively working to improve this aspect to ensure a smoother login experience.

"CloudLIMS is an excellent and versatile LIMS system that meets the needs of my laboratory"

4.5/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

At Chipsa Hospital, our clinical processes involve next-generation sequencing, optical genome mapping, proteomics, and digital pathology. Our workflow involves receiving samples from physicians, storing them prior to analysis, testing samples, and reporting test results to the physicians. Sometimes, we receive multiple samples collected from the same patient at different time points. We are also setting up a new genomics laboratory for sample collection and storage. We were looking for a LIMS that can mirror our existing and new workflows seamlessly and adapt to changes over time.

Selecting a LIMS vendor was a daunting task but my previous positive experience with CloudLIMS has tipped the scale in their favor. We evaluated LIMS solutions from several vendors, including Thermo Fisher and Labware, and ultimately chose CloudLIMS. CloudLIMS stood out for its functionality and comprehensive range of complimentary services. The ROI is excellent with CloudLIMS.

Their customer support team has been consistently responsive and supportive in all our interactions. We are happy to recommend CloudLIMS to any lab looking for versatile and extensible LIMS that offers great value for money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

In the past creating dashboards was not a trivial undertaking. I would like to see this corrected in future versions of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CloudLIMS use in a chemistry laboratory"

4/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

CloudLIMS is used daily in work for logging all samples, tests, and to generate test reports. CloudLIMS was implemented in the lab to allow a system to have all tests in one place where sample numbers could be assigned and testing tracked alongside the sample numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

CloudLIMS has a large customer base so while they respond quickly to queries sometimes resolution or new features can take a while to be implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CloudLIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recently CloudLIMS integrated the feature of report numbers being automatically generated on the test reports as they are generated. Previously we had to have a separate log to track report numbers and manually had to add them to the reports. Which occasionally meant reports had to be regenerated to attach the correct report number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable LIMS system requiring dedicated time"

4.5/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

CloudLIMS is very customizable in what columns are shown and what is being reported. The customer service is really good, we ask for certain features and they do their best to give it to us. The response time is also very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

Editting it for our lab purposes is a long and tedious process. There aren't readily used templates that can be copied to other groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CloudLIMS - A true value addition to our cannabis lab"

5/5

What do you like best about CloudLIMS?

We provide third-party cannabis testing services. Every other LIMS we considered nickel-and-dimed us for CoA template setup, instrument integration, and staff training. CloudLIMS didn't impose these fees, alleviating financial concerns. With CloudLIMS, reporting test results to regulatory agencies is super easy and quick. Additionally, the CloudLIMS team consistently offers assistance and doesn't hesitate to walk the extra mile to fulfill our stringent testing and reporting needs. CloudLIMS stands out for being both cost-effective and feature-rich. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CloudLIMS?

The system's session timeout is somewhat restrictive. After a while, the platform prompts a session expiration. It would be good if there is an option to extend the session duration, allowing users a bit more flexibility in completing tasks without worrying about losing their progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CloudLIMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to using CloudLIMS, we were mired in tonnes of manual tasks. For instance, our instruments were not integrated, so our staff had to perform manual entry of data. With instrument integration, we no longer have to allocate staff to transfer data from our instruments to CloudLIMS. Now data is accurately and consistently recorded in the LIMS, empowering us to make decisions without errors. And the automation doesn’t stop there. The product also has the functionality to auto-calculate complex test results, saving us significant time and effort. CloudLIMS-driven automation has not only reduced our reliance on staff but also enhanced our data integrity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
