I like this tool because of the supports of the various programming languages like C,Perl,python, JavaScript and the php. This is an web based platform that is used for the scripting,running and debugging the code in the cloud .i like this this tool that it works as a severless applications which it helps to switch between remote and the local testing and the debugging activities. I have used many other IDEs, Cloud9 is one of the few that automates the installation process. You can open up multiple workspace to test out different setups, everything is on the cloud, no need to trouble yourself setting up the environment. Html 5, wordpress, drupal etc. By installing and running a client application that syncs the local file system and cloud storage Cloud9 can be run locally. Great alternative for situations when the Internet connection is unreliable. In addition to launching a server to run code, Cloud9 will also host a database to develop against. Slow load time, slow file management, occasionally get logged out. Database is difficult and slow to navigate. Git and hg commands can be run in the command-line, the same way as in a local terminal. Free plan requires you to provide a credit card due to the nature of Cloud 9's "Free Workspaces" to be relatively abused. According to the developers, this is the only way to prevent such.

The recording portion of the solution has decent space for improvement which they're working on; In the GUI interface, X means Save which is not that intuitive. Ideally that would be replaced by a Save button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

best debugging utility I have experienced for free cloud IDE. Multi-line editing enabled , not as good as sublime text editor but still very handy . And come with terminal for version control and ssh connection server
