"Run and scale your code painlessly. The best PaaS out there.: Google app engine allows you to focus on writing on your code without having to worry about all the underlying infrastructure. This allows for a "code first" mentality. Developers can focus on building applications without having to worry about things like dependencies. App Engine seamlessly connects to other Google services such as data store and cloud SQL. Best of all, app engine can scale as required and can even scale to zero in order to avoid incurring charges. If you want more control over infrastructure, you can switch to app Engine flex and modify the underlying infrastructure as required."

The language support alone has made it way better than cPanel, but the features overall put it leaps and bounds ahead in my opinion! "

But it's extensive set of Add-Ons makes it stand apart. Truly, with one click you can incorporate any additional service you can possibly conceive of. Not only are days or weeks of work collapsed into hours, but it makes it possible to try out different options before you commit, bc the investment in setting them up is low."

"Git-based hosting deployment without the devops headaches and a ton of versatility.: The architecture and flexibility of Platform.sh is up there with the best. It's great to be able to use composer to manage dependencies and have a containerized system that builds those dependencies on each deploy. It's what you, as a developer, would build for yourself if you had the time. But really it's better because you don't have to build or maintain it. There isn't much that can't be done, even compiling your own PHP extensions in your instance! The documentation is thorough."
