"The BEST Cloning Tool - Free & Open Source!"
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

Pros:

*Live bootable.

*Bootable via many different mediums.

*Debian based.

*Free and open source.

*Easy to use.

*Efficient and quick at what it does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

Cons:

*GUI could look nicer, but I could care less.

I would guess that most people using Clonezilla enjoy it how it is.

I couldn't think of any other downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great tool for backup and hard disk cloning!"
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

- It is easy to use to create or restore images or direct clones of partitions or whole disks: just boot from the CD or pendrive and follow the step-by-step wizard.

- It is open-source software so just don't care about licenses: it is "your" software! Copy it, use it, study its source code, share it!

- It can save images to (and restore from) local disk or ssh/samba/NFS/WebDAV servers.

- compressed images are smaller than the original partitions, and only the used sectors are stored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

- character user interface can look a little obsolete (but it is very efficient and takes little resources). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is the imaging applications, As soon as you've got a grasp of this app. Also, of course, it is free and straightforward to discover. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

The port does leave a few to be wanted. For this type of work, you do not want it to be gaudy. The very first time ought to be OK and maybe kind of as a result of the speech google. It also needs to be understood that the documentation from the app leaves room for some confusion unless you're sure of what you're doing before you do it if you mess up things since there's a risk of data loss, whenever you're attempting to restore information. This can be true in almost any imaging merchandise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Spend less time using Clonezilla images"
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

Clonezilla allows us to obtain the image of a hard drive and clone it onto other computers quickly. It is free, in addition to being software that is completely based on the laws of free software, that is, freedom of execution and use and freedom of modification. The interface of Clonezilla is very simple to understand, although it requires certain technical knowledge. Clonezilla can be downloaded from its official website for free, and it is constantly updated thanks to the support of the community of users who work selflessly on the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

Clonezilla, as mentioned earlier, requires some computer knowledge, as it is necessary to have a bootable USB or burn a DVD with Clonezilla, so that once the BIOS of our equipment is configured, it is capable of booting from said device. It is somewhat complicated, but not at all impossible to accomplish. Once this step is completed, Clonezilla is super easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clonezilla."
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

Clonezilla is a program based on open-source licenses, it is free and cross-platform. Its purpose is to help us in the event of a serious data loss by allowing us to recover from disasters. It can also be very helpful when it comes to cloning disks and partitions. Its mode of operation is to carry out a backup of the system or to save a copy and reproduce it on all the computers where it is to be implemented. Another possibility offered by Clonezilla is to do it from a network server, as the image can reside on the hard drive, via ssh, samba server, or an NFS server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

Obsolete interface. An external storage device is necessary, such as a bootable USB or a CD or DVD to boot directly with Clonezilla. This task is not difficult to perform, but it is not suitable for novice users, as it requires entering the computer's BIOS to edit the boot order of the storage units. "Clonezilla"
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

Clonezilla is a very useful free open-source software tool because it can save you a lot of work time as a systems technician when installing operating systems on computers with identical characteristics. It also becomes miraculous in cases of disaster on a computer due to viruses and such. Once the data is saved, the computer can be restored to a freshly formatted state thanks to Clonezilla. All this is possible because by booting from a Clonezilla USB or DVD, a program starts that allows us to make an exact copy of our disk image, all from a pleasant and simple user interface. Even if it has an operating system installed. With the Clonezilla server version, you can even clone numerous computers over a network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

It is necessary to have technical knowledge about handling BIOS in computer equipment, as you will need to change the boot mode to the device where you have the Clonezilla boot. Therefore, for a systems IT professional, it is very simple but not so for the average user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clonezilla"
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

When we run Clonezilla, the first thing we need to know is that we are using a program whose license is based on free software licenses, which makes it free.

Its positive points are:

- Very lightweight, intuitive, and useful software.

- It will allow us to create disk images, which we can recover in case of disasters, data loss, or simply to make copies of the hard drive and environment for computers with identical technical characteristics, which facilitates the preparation time of equipment.

- It is cross-platform and free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

The worst thing about Clonezilla is that it must be used by personnel with knowledge of computer security and system administration, as it requires modifying certain aspects of the system's boot in the BIOS. Otherwise, it is very intuitive and fulfills its purpose, so there are no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clonezilla Straight-Forward Imaging"
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

Clonezilla's greatest strength is that it's powerful and simple to use. In most cases you boot it up, select your choices, and let it run. Once you have a grasp of the program it is probably the best straight up imaging tools available out there. Not to mention it's free and easy to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

The interface does leave some to be desired. For this kind of work though you don't really need it to be flashy. Also the first time through can be kind of daunting due to the language, so google up some know how and should be fine. It should also be known that the documentation in the program itself leaves room for some confusion to arise. Unless you are absolutely sure of what you are doing before you do it because there is a great risk of data loss if you mess things up. Of course this is true in any kind of imaging product when you are trying to restore data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clonezilla."
What do you like best about Clonezilla?

Clonezilla is a software that will allow you to create images of disk volumes or external storage devices to later restore them. That is, if you have a good strategy, in addition to serving as a backup mechanism, it will reduce your work time spent installing the operating system and main applications to a room of several computers with the same technical characteristics, since you can do it on the first one and then just restore the image on the rest. This program is free as it has a free software license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clonezilla?

This program requires certain computer knowledge, so it is not that easy to use. Configure the machine to boot from our Clonezilla CD. Other than that, I can't say anything bad, because it more than fulfills the objectives for which it was created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
