I like that Support ticketing and invoicing are administered from one package. When you throw in a capable knowledgebase system and hosting packages there's pretty much everything you need here to run your hosting company. I also like the use of shortcodes in the custom e-mail templates which allows for a lot of freedom and creativity with client e-mails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ClientExec's interface could be described as bland. The back end Admin interface is all about functionality which is fine, but it needed a fresh 3.0 look. As of March 2022, there has been some improvement in this area though, with both the client-side and the admin side receiving a much needed redesign. The client especially has a much more pleasing dashboard and my customers already commented that they approve - so it is good that ClientExec improved in this area.
The ticketing system wasn't great and there were limited sort options for a long time - I am not sure if this is resolved now. Long support conversations were also unwieldy in ClientExec so I switched away from ClientExec for a different support system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
