I love the ability to find amazing writers while being able to manage them myself. Although there is the ability to have ClearVoice manage writers for me, there is also a DIY option for Content Managers like myself who prefer to build teams and manage writers using a more hands on approach. I also really like the way the platform is set up to create assignments - it allows me to discuss brand voice, tone, and even personas in great depth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were surprised that the lead time was so long - 10 days for a blog post. But we figured the content would be worth it. However, 3 of the 4 initial blogs we submitted were unusable. They basically took our outline and strung together the bullet points with cliches and awkward constructions like "In all corners of the globe...." And when we put in our request for revision, we were told the substantial revision necessary to make this acceptable for our clients was "outside of scope." We ended up rewriting them from scratch at our own expense. I am amazed that CV puts out such low-quality content, and even moreso that they refused to make it right. The learning curve. It would be good if I could learn the system without going working on a real project. Also, I do not like the fact that I cannot separate a writer from my client. It would be beautiful if there was a way for me to work with my team and then work with my client in the same assignment. But, my client not see the work that my team (and writer) are doing. Figuring out how to do things have taken some time, like learning how to have a freelancer sign up for CV so that I can assign something specifically to them, instead of sending it out to the Marketplace.
