"The tool that brings your business closer to where you are"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Secure Client?

We provide daily technical support of the services offered (fiber optic internet, capacity, dark fiber) to different customers throughout LATAM, we perform remote connections to the various equipment installed via CLI through Putty, and this is where Anyconnect comes to play an important role which guarantees secure and reliable access to the target network allowing communication with these teams without risk of loss of information thanks to its encryption; to emphasize of this tool is that it possesses a robust security system making use of the MFA at the moment of the authentication which integrates perfectly with the active directory of our company granting the roles and permissions adapted to each member that makes use of the tool. What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Client?

I have noticed failures in navigating my local computer when I am connected to the VPN despite having all the permissions and exceptions inside the company's Proxy; I have tried occasionally to add these exceptions locally, but the results have not been satisfactory. I have escalated this failure to our IT team, and some sites are now allowing me to access usually, but others are still giving me a browsing error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cisco Secure Client?

The ability to perform secure work while at home. This is crucial to my job and those that I serve. Doing so and knowing that the information accessed is compliant with standard security guidelines is reassuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Client?

The log-in process is often cumbersome and the integration with Mac is less than desirable. It also drains battery if using a laptop without constant power source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best VPN Service"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Secure Client?

The application can secure more than one VPN connection configuration. For example, a few regions can be configured and connected depending on the needs. They also work as backup connections when the one we chose is not working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Client?

In my case, I cannot find things to dislike about the application. I have been using it for around ten years, and I can always count on a secure and stable connection with my VPN servers. I had some problems with manual updates (uninstall the old version and install the new one manually) in the past, but it was more than three years ago. Now we have auto-updates which are working very nicely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cisco Secure Client?

With the increase in remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many tools were designed or adjusted to the growing demand for remote connections; one such application is CISCO ANYCONECT which, thanks to its ease of implementation, became an essential tool to allow work in our company to continue operating uninterruptedly. The ease of use is remarkable since it is enough to enter the credentials provided by the administrators to access the functionality of the corporate network in a secure way and from anywhere in the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Secure Client?

Sometimes when the VPN connection is established, access is lost to certain websites, which are allowed initially within the proxy exceptions in the corporate network. However, such situations have been escalated to IT personnel for analysis. The tool is also stable and adapts to any fixed or mobile device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
