The best thing about this product is the ease of use. The system starts/stops with the push of a switch and provides feedback to let the user know the system is working. The system is extremely flexible to allow multiple video camera inputs and audio inputs. There are so many great things about the system, it is hard to pick just one. **What do you dislike about CaseCracker Onyx?** The system is not currently linked with a Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS). However, I know the company is working with several DEMS Manufactures and it will be completed soon. In addition, the system exports in an MP4 Format and pretty much every DEMS can import. **Recommendations to others considering CaseCracker Onyx:** Contact CaseCracker Sales Team and they will provide you with exceptional information and portable equipment for you to test and evaluate. Every Implementation is different with different prices. The questions below, do not directly answer the questions of cost and ROI. Additionally, from an IT perspective the implementation was seamless and straightforward. **What do you dislike about CaseCracker Onyx?** Currently, there is no cloud option for archiving audio/video, but speaking with company staff, this functionality is being considered in the future. **Recommendations to others considering CaseCracker Onyx:** Strongly encourage site visits to other CaseCracker system users and speak to staff **What problems is CaseCracker Onyx solving and how is that benefiting you?** CaseCracker provides a reliable platform to record audio and video in support of criminal investigations involving suspects, victims and witnesses. The system also supports internal affairs investigations in regards to investigating external complaints from the public and internal complaints from staff. ### 3. Organizationally we have used both the mobile CaseCracker solution and the fixed system on interview rooms and out of thousands of interviews have not lost a single interview due to technical difficulties. Further, the Agents absolutely love it as it is easy to use and reliable. The tabbing feature makes it easy to tab significant points in the interview for presentation and testimonial purposes. The mobile CaseCrackers have been used in some tough environments and hold up very well to all conditions. **What do you dislike about CaseCracker Onyx?** Can't say that I dislike anything - from responsiveness in sales, installation and service we have received excellent service. **Recommendations to others considering CaseCracker Onyx:** We have been using CaseCracker video recording solutions and have not lost a case in court due to any issues with the quality or manipulation of the video. For us this is a critical aspect. **What problems is CaseCracker Onyx solving and how is that benefiting you?** All interviews are digitally recorded and saved. Our storage of these interviews is extensive.
