"Easy, Fast Short Video Edits with Handy Screen Recording"
5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

it's very easy to do small short video edits and create short quick videos. I also like how you can record the screen and get a rough transcript of the audio Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

It seems to REALLY slow down with more animations and images - a 5 minute video that has call outs (arrows and call out boxes ) it gets super buggy and freezes and you have to remember to save every time you do something because it will just shut down or freeze and you'll lose all your work. And my videos are NOT that complex Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy In-House Videos and Powerful TV/CTV Spots with Camtasia"
5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

What I like best about Camtasia is how easy it makes it to create simple, in-house videos and how powerful it is for creating our broadcast TV and streaming CTV spots.

The Camtasia Pro account gives me access to an abundance of integrated resources at a competitive price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

Camtasia will occasionally not save my work 😫, forcing me to recreate my previous edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Video Editing with Camtasia"
5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

I like that Camtasia is easy to use and intuitive, making it simple to create videos. It's also really easy to repeat branding across different videos, which is a big plus for me. These features help speed up the time for delivery, allowing me to focus more on strategy and less on tasks. Additionally, the setup process was very easy, thanks to its interface's similarity to other video editing tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

I do wish it could provide me more feedback about my video and what I could improve on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Audiate makes audio editing fast and precise – thanks to waveform fine-tuning"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

I use Audiate and am very satisfied with it because it allows me to quickly edit audio: cutting out important paragraphs, exporting important statements/sections. It's great that I have the waveform at the same time to make fine adjustments. Compared to other programs, like Adobe Podcast for example, this is great because there, sounds were often cut off and I have no control over it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

The AI voices sound relatively monotonous, and the avatars aren't that great either, but they help when you want to quickly present something. Suggestion for improvement: to be able to invite someone to work on a project together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Camtasia’s Built-In Narration Tools Make Training Videos Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

My favorite part about Camtasia is that it has tools built in that directly relate to what you are trying to do in the project. For instance, there is a voice narration tool that is built to allow you to watch the video and complete the narration in real time. It also performs very well compared to more complicated video editing / training tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

Probably the biggest downside of Camtasia is that it is not a full fledged video editor. This means that there are a few features that are less sophisticated and less customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Camtasia Streamlines My Workflow with Great Editable Captions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

Camtasia pulled together a number of processes for me. I think my fave is the editable captions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

I wish that audiate and snagit were just part of the same app rather than two different apps. I know they're accesible within the camtasia app, but it's still a bit of friction I could live without Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It Accelerated Our Audiovisual Production Process"
5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

I like that Camtasia is cloud-based and that it is very easy to use. Additionally, the help content and webinars have been very useful for our entire team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

I think they have an area of opportunity in the integration they have with Snagit and Audiate. We have had some errors when we want to create an avatar and then integrate it with Camtasia, or we want to use another application and we have no way to make the integrations. So, I believe that in terms of infrastructure, there is still room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super easy to use: Camtasia with many effects and good AI noise reduction"
5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

Super easy to use and with a sufficiently large selection of effects – ideal for tutorials and simple videos. Additionally, it's cost-effective. Since the integration of AI, the noise reduction is also very useful. I really enjoy working with Camtasia! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

The clip speed by drag-and-drop or by stretching the clip is missing - you always have to enter a number of seconds, which is often not very precise. The transcription of speech is not quite accurate. Unfortunately, corrections cannot be made easily, this should be optimized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Video Editing with Camtasia"
5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

I like everything about Camtasia, but what I appreciate the most is the vast number of editing options it provides. You know, I can just copy and paste properties without having to repeat myself, which is really helpful. It's great for editing recordings from webinars with many speakers, as it allows maintaining consistency in video size, width, and breadth. Other features like splitting the audio and boosting the volume when a speaker is quiet are amazing options. The smooth initial setup and the great customer support also stand out to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

It crashes sometimes and restarts, but the best part it you o not lose what you edited so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving and Feature-Rich, But Interface can be a lot at first"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Camtasia?

It's very robust. Without any video editing experience I was able to create a number of explainer videos, create scripts with AI narration, and create proffesional advertisements with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Camtasia?

It took awhile to get used to the interface. There were a lot of buttons and it was just hard to find what all the functions were. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
