As a law firm, this is helpful because we are audited not only to maintain our certifications, but by our clients to maintain their business. The C1Risk platform helps us to stay organized and has taken so much overhead off the process of all these audits because we are able to use it for to produce the needed evidence for every audit situation. The product also continues to grow with our needs year over year. **What do you dislike about C1Risk?** There is very little to dislike about the product. The only thing I have found is minor UI preferences such as column sizing and such, but it isn’t anything that truly changes the way the product works **What problems is C1Risk solving and how is that benefiting you?** C1Risk helped us take a very manual process of maintaining our ISO/IEC 27001 certification evidence and streamline that process. We then adapted that process and expanded it to our client audits and our review of our client requirements. The C1Risk platform allowed us to take processes that required many hours of work for several people and cut it down to a repeatable and automated process that runs for us and allows us to oversee it and now find ourselves ahead of our schedule instead of running behind or being frantic when audit time came around. We are confident in our evidence and no longer have to cut corners to make our deadlines because the administrative work has been reduced so much. We are able to go into audits fully prepared, and collect the complete collection of evidence for the year, which helps with all client audits as well throughout the year so we are fully prepared for anything requested of the security team at all times. ### 2. It supports all of the standards that we need and with the crosswalks, it keeps us from duplicate efforts. This is important since we started with one target certification and then moved to another, based on customer requirements and it was pretty seemless. Without C1Risk, our ISO27001 pursuit would not have been successful. Additionally, they are very open to changes to improve the user experience. All one needs to do is ask! **What do you dislike about C1Risk?** Training. As with most new tools with so many features, understanding how all of them interact with each other and what to do where and when was a uphill climb. We brought in consulting support from C1Risk, whch were super to get us through that and once the system was up and running it became a cake walk. **What problems is C1Risk solving and how is that benefiting you?** One stop shop for all our information security needs and supports our official certification requirements. We've loaded all of our policies, procedures and guidelines into C1Risk and it has helped us in organizing and mapping them to the different standards. ### 3. It allows us to track both our accepted risks (risk register) and our risks that we are working to remediate/mitigate. It is a powerful tool that can map against a large library of frameworks, assign tasks to users, and document evidence for controls. What I like best though is the customer service. If there's something that you need that the platform can not currently do, the team is very willing to assist and accomodate. **What do you dislike about C1Risk?** I don't currently dislike anything. Any time I've needed something the C1Risk team is quick to add it to the platform or provide another path to complete the task. **What problems is C1Risk solving and how is that benefiting you?** C1Risk is helping us keep track of our ISO controls and document our evidence for smooth audits during ISO certification. It is also assisting us with tracking our vendors for security concerns. ### 4. Finding the relativity between assets can help with any sort of metrics, whether it is risk score, or criticality. It can also encourage a thinking about your organization from a wider perspective. **What do you dislike about C1Risk?** The tool is constantly being improved, and sometimes those improvements can make the tool run slower. **What problems is C1Risk solving and how is that benefiting you?** I personally use it for audit and vendor documentation, so the document request functionality is extremely beneficial so I do not have to worry about what documentation I need to pull every year and who I need to ask for said documentation. ### 5. Our company needs to be secure for the sake of medical records and the HIPAA act.
