BuildSuite HQ Reviews & Product Details

BuildSuite HQ makes simple, affordable software for small general contractors, remodelers, and the subcontractors they hire. We started in Kansas City, building alongside a working residential remodeling company, so every feature comes from a real job site problem: expired insurance certificates, missing W-9s, rooms that need measuring, and paperwork that slows down getting paid. One login gives you access to every BuildSuite HQ product, on iPhone, Android, and the web. BuildSuiteCrew is subcontractor compliance software for contractors who manage a roster of subs. It tracks certificates of insurance (COIs), workers' compensation certificates, trade licenses, and W-9 forms in one place. Subcontractors upload their documents once and share them with every contractor they work for, and it is always free for subcontractors, so they actually use it. Crew reads expiration dates from uploaded documents automatically and sends reminders 30 days and 7 days before a document expires, and again when it does, to both the sub and the contractor. A roster view shows who is current, expiring, or expired before anyone shows up on site. Contractors can also send subcontract agreements for e-signature, search for licensed contractors near a job site, and create offline profiles to track documents for subs who are not on the app yet. BuildSuiteCrew is $9.99 per month for contractors, with a 14-day free trial. BuildSuiteScan turns an iPhone or iPad Pro with LiDAR into a room scanner. Using Apple's RoomPlan technology, it creates accurate floor plans and wall, floor, and ceiling area measurements in minutes, detects doors, windows, and fixtures automatically, and produces a trade-by-trade scope of work with line-item quantities, ready to price with your own rates. Floor plans export as PDF or DXF for CAD software. BuildSuiteScan is $12.99 per month. BuildSuite Invoicing, launching late 2026, brings estimates, e-signed change orders, progress billing, and invoicing together for remodelers. Clients sign estimates and change orders from their phone, each payment milestone becomes an invoice in one click, and optional reminders follow up on past-due invoices. Our approach is straightforward: focused tools that do one job well, priced so a small contractor can afford all of them. We read every piece of feedback, and customers can send requests and see their status right inside the product. If you run a construction or remodeling business and you are tired of tracking subcontractor insurance in spreadsheets, measuring rooms by hand, or chasing signatures, BuildSuite HQ was built for you.
