BuildSuite HQ is a mobile and web app for general contractors and subcontractors in the construction trades. It combines two main tools: subcontractor compliance tracking and room scanning for estimates. On the compliance side, a general contractor keeps a roster of the subcontractors they work with and tracks their required paperwork — Certificates of Insurance, trade licenses, W-9s, Workers' Comp — in one place instead of email and spreadsheets. The app requests documents from subcontractors, checks that uploaded COIs and W-9s are actually the right form (not just correctly labeled), and sends alerts to both sides before something expires. GCs can also search their subcontractor network by trade and license, send contracts out for e-signature, and send bid requests to collect pricing from multiple subs on a job. Subcontractors use the same app for free — they upload their documents once and share them with any GC they work with, rather than resending paperwork every time. On the estimating side, BuildSuiteScan uses a phone's LiDAR sensor to scan a room and automatically produce a floor plan with measurements and a scope of work broken out by trade, which can be turned into a PDF or sent out for bids. The compliance features are subscription-based for GCs ($9.99/month, free for subcontractors); Scan is a separate subscription ($12.99/month). Both are available on iOS and Android, with a web dashboard as well.
