Staff love that they can see the schedule and request off right from their phones. **What do you dislike about Buddy Punch?** I don't know if it is because I don't know how or if it is just difficult, but it is hard to mark an employee as a no show due to various reasons if you are an admin. I usually have to ask the employee to go in to put why they didn't show up. I also would like to be able to approve time off right in the scheduler because sometimes I am in the middle of making a schedule before I see the request. **What problems is Buddy Punch solving and how is that benefiting you?** Buddy Punch is making the scheduling process much more efficient. Buddy punch eliminated all of that. We have a very complex accrual system for PTO due to our union contract. Staff really seem to love the control and ease of use. Clocking in is so easy. Monitoring time off requests is easy, too! The sync from time cards to payroll is also a big time saver for us, though there was a bit of a learning curve and work with IT to get that to function properly. **What do you dislike about Buddy Punch?** Requires two different logins for user & administrator - even when they are the same person. Staff have a hard time making corrections or submitting time cards outside the geofence. If those things go to supervisors for approval anyway, it would be nice if they could submit from anywhere. Wish there was an easy way to get to a staff's time off detail (used & planned), it seems like it takes a few clicks and the right report to get to the best list. Integration with QuickBooks desktop - wish there was a way to have payroll items tied to both jobs and classes (right now can only pick 1 so still a fair amount of manual updates in payroll). **What problems is Buddy Punch solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mobile solution to employee time tracking in the building. Before we had 6 kiosks in the building but they are not always convenient for everyone. Now we have one kiosk and employees can use their mobile devices or ipads to clock in/out from anywhere in the building.
