When Brightcove bought Ooyala, it was a rough start as they didn't have all the features we needed that Ooyala has. But they didn't let that stop them from keeping our business. They connected me with the engineering team and built the platform to be exactly what we needed. We host most of our videos on our website in Brightcove, and we also use their live module for virtual events and livestreams, both internal and external. Some of the interactivity and branding of galleries isn't as evolved as I'd like it to be, with limited customization options for galleries. playlists, etc. Would love more out-of-the-box interactivity for videos without have to purchase additional products. I love the wordpress player, we use videos for customer testimonials and it makes it super easy to add these to our website.
